Misleading

Posted Jul 1, 2015
First of all , check in states 2pm. Our clerk , inform us it was 3pm. He also inform us , he did not like Expedia. 2nd, there is no restaurant , there is bar grill that open after 5 pm. However the menu is limited , on a Sunday night 8pm I could not get a simple order fries , due to bar tender on staff did not want to turn on the fryers. 3rd. I need shuttle to airport I was inform due to my flight was so early they could not offer a shuttle service. However they offer to call cab at my cost. 4th pool hours are 10 to 10, at 11 am pool was full of bugs and debris

Very nice room but hotel facilities lacking.

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: The room was very well laid out and spacious. The chest of drawers and desk unit was very efficient and conducive to a good work environment in room.
Cons: The planting areas and concrete sidewalks on the hotel grounds were covered with overgrown weeds and grass. The carpet in the hallways were very worn.
Location: Location was good...close to many restaurants and primary roads/highways.
The room was very nice and spacious but the hotel grounds were very poorly maintained.

Not bad but not great

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Room overall and breakfast
The hallways need new flooring. I'd go with tile with runners, but I'm sure they will put down more awful carpet. The electrical receptacles need replaced. Couldn't charge our phones the receptacle were lose and worn out. The outside central courtyard was wonderful. The room decor and overall was very good. They just need to clean up the hallways and receptacles (good power strips?) and it would be good. Breakfast was very good.

Close to shopping and our family

Pros: Sleep Number Beds and Cleanliness
Cons: Routine maintenance in restrooms
Radisson is now Wyndham. Complimentary breakfast was available the first morning, but changed to pay per meal thereafter. Rooms were clean and came with Sleep Number beds.

Not clean and dated

Posted May 19, 2015
Upon entering the room the bathroom was dirty. Specifically the toilet, it had urine stains under the seat and poop stains in the toilet bowl. Floors were not mopped. Room had a moldy odor. In the hallway the roof had water damage. Some of the staff was friendly but that can easily be overlooked when they neglect cleanliness. The facility needs much updating, it looks pleasant in the main lobby but falls apart after there.

No water in part of hotel where my room was.

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Very little.
Cons: Tell guests BEFORE they check in that there won't be water service and offer to refund their money.
Location: The location seemed OK. I was there for 2 specific reasons so I didn't explore other activities while in Madison, AL.
I arrived late afternoon on Friday, 4/24/15, looking forward to a nice shower before going out for my evening activities. But guess what. The water was shut off in the section of the hotel where my room was. They told me the repairs would be fixed in about an hour. The guys fixing the plumbing problem had the hallway to my room blocked off with their equipment and I had to exit by the front desk, go outside and walk around the dirty empty pool to gain access to my room. My schedule wouldn't permit me to wait an hour to shower and still make my evening engagement. So I had to change cloths and get ready to go out without having my shower. I had planned on staying 2 nights, but Saturday morning I received a call from the front desk at 4 minutes before 11 o'clock saying they would be shutting off the water within an hour for repairs. (They told me Friday it would be completed Friday...in an hour.) Because I didn't have an activity until later in the day I was in my room watching TV in my pajamas when I received the call. I confirmed I had time to shower before the water was turned off. This time they offered no information as to how long the water would be shut off. I showered, dressed, packed up my belongings and checked out a day early. A hotel without water is not adequate.

Cons: Maid service.
Not a bad hotel. Stayed 2 nights. Front desk staff was kind of slow, and didn't receive any maid service while I was there.
