For the price, the room was fine. Nothing special but clean. The service was good and the staff was accommodating and friendly. However, the toiletries were unacceptable. A bar of soap and a terrible combination of shampoo and conditioner which is awful are all you get. Bring your own and you'll be fine. Proximity to the St. George airport and Zion National Park is perfect!!! Overall good.

Overpriced for the value

This is an average, 2 star, motel that capitalizes on it’s close proximity to Zion. It is old and rundown. I couldn’t sleep with the noisy mini frige right next to my bed and the racket from the funky cooling system. Why do these motels lock their windows? I had to sit in my car for awhile during the night just to get some fresh air. Horrible experience.

Awful Customer Service

I was trying to book a room at the Rodeway Inn in St George, and accidentally hit the wrong one on the app, and booked this one in Hurricane. I immediately called Expedia, who called the hotel and tried to negotiate with them to cancel my reservation. They initially refused with the excuse that the owner wasn't there to authorize a cancellation. Several representatives from Expedia continued to try to work with them over the next few days, yet they continued to refuse. I understand that there is a clear no cancellation policy on the same day of your booking, but any manager with even a modicum of customer service skills would have made an exception for a simple mistake like this. It's not like my cancellation would have caused them any inconvenience, as it had only been booked for less than 15 minutes by the time I tried to cancel it. I bet they didn't even know they had a new booking for that day until Expedia called them to get it cancelled. I hope the $50 you stubbornly refused to refund is worth the business you lose from bad reviews and bad word of mouth (oh yeah, I live and work in Hurricane, so word will get around).

Good value near Zion National park

Pros: Liked the beds and good TV selection
Cons: Limited breakfast with very small breakfast room
Location: 30 minutes from Zion National park
Good value near Zion National Park. Breakfast room very small and was full both our days there (and they have a sign not allowing food to be taken outside the breakfast room)

Very pricey for poor facility

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Just about everything.
Location: It's close to Zion Canyon (about 20 miles or so).
It was very unpleasant. The accommodations were uncomfortable and very dated. Based on my stay I will never consider Rodeway again.

Convinient

Every thing was fine just one big issue one of our group around mid nite got insects bites , next morning we found a small black round shape insect , we smashed it ,all blood (bed bug maybe) we told the clerk about it , he disagre

Wrong first Impression

Pros: The beds were comfy. The refrigerator was nice and tall so I could put actual bottles of water in it.
Cons: The details on the website!!! Just tell me the real story so I can plan accordingly.
Location: I only went to Zion. I brought my own food in a cooler so I didn't eat out either.
On the expedia page..it said the hotel was 15 mies from Zion. It turned out to be 25 miles away. On the sight it specifically said "Full Breakfast" I want someone to once and for all explain the difference between a full, continental, or hot breakfast actually means!??! Danishes, toast and cereal is with no protein at all dos not qualify as "Full" breakfast to me. Thats a continental breakfast right? It was also not till 7Am which was way to late for me in order to get on the hiking trail before the lines got long for the tram. The one day I decided to stick around for breakfast. There was a sign that said "Do not take plates of food back to your room" There were so many people there was no where to sit!!! So I told 3 danishes and headed to Zion. I did have some questions when I got back from my hike but there was no one to be found at the office so I looked online. I serially might have still stand there but I would have planned my timing differently if I had the real story.

Filthy carpet!!!

The carpet was very sdtained and the room had a strange oder. Despite this, it was a bed!
