Nice hotel

Its a nice hotel. No complaints at all. A nice stop after getting past Dallas traffic.

Absolutely Terrible Service

I have never in my life had someone treat me the way I was treated at this hotel. Not only was the front desk staff completely rude, they also gave me a smoking room when I had booked a non-smoking room. To make things worse, after I came down to the front desk to tell them that my room smelled like cigarettes, they told me that they didn't think it smelled like cigarettes and "that's how all hotel rooms smell". They said They could not move us to a different room because the hotel "was all booked up" and that the only room they had available was an executive room but they would have to charge us more for the room. After all this, we decided to stay at another hotel close by that was absolutely perfect. Needless to say, I will not be staying at this hotel or recommending it to anyone.

I want to apologize for your recent experience at our Hutchins property, this is not the kind of experience we want our guests to leave here with. We teach our staff to do what it takes to resolve the issue immediately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Please accept my sincere apology. Nice, convenient hotel at the south side of Dallas

Pros: Location, comfort.
Cons: More handicap parking spots. Several times in the week we were there I had to park on the side and drive up front to pick up my husband.
We evacuated from the Houston area when hurricane Harvey was approaching. This hotel is just south of I-20 on I-45, convenient for getting anywhere. It was nice and comfortable and the staff responded promptly to our requests. They were all very nice people who were trying to serve our needs. Breakfast was fine, standard fare.

My third stay at a La Quinta Inn. Nice place to stay, staff not overbearing, but helpful. Clean comfortable and well located. Overall, good value for the money.

hotel by the trucks

Pros: Clean and close to the highway easy off and on.
Cons: train the staff on check in and out procedures. the staff should be helpful in solving problems
this hotel is next to the interstate and very close to an industrial area. it is clean and safe. the staff is not well trained. the business area has one old computer that will not hook to the internet. (windows 7) when I asked the staff about the computer they said they could not help me check in for my flight since there are no other computers in the building with internet access..................

Would look for somewhere else to stay next time.

The room was pretty clean but that was really the only thing I can't complain about. Our stay wasn't awful but it really could have been much better. Front desk agent was in jeans, sneakers, and a T-shirt... Her attitude matched her outfit. Very casual, very disengaged, totally unknowledgable about the place she works. I needed to do laundry so I came down to ask for quarters. She didn't have any but referred me to the vending machines which give change in quarters. I asked her how much the machines cost and she didn't know, stating she had never actually been into the laundry room. I went to get quarters from the vending machine... I put $3 in as that is the max it will let you put in at once. I selected an item for $1 and received $1.25 in change before it stopped dispensing change altogether like it ran out. When we checked in at 7pm there were almost no cars and the few other guests I came across were amiable leisure travelers. Around 2am I went to take my dog out the parking lot was full and there were a lot of sketchy type people hanging around the hallways and outside of the building. Seems to be a popular place for truckers and other sorts to rest for the night.

Just MEH...

Nice hotel, clean friendly staff.. beds not that comfortable .. i guess it's just satisfactory.. pool was closed while we were there which was the whole reason why we booked the hotel.. so we never got to use it!! Aside from that.. it served its purpose.

Price was good but not optimal for business travel

The location was good for our business needs but there is literally nothing around the hotel. No food options, no grocery stores, etc. Also, the WiFi was terrible! Completely unusable. Thank goodness I had a cell phone hot spot since I was traveling for business. The other issue was the breakfast hours. We try to book hotels that offer free breakfast when we travel for work for convenience. Breakfast ended at 9am which was difficult for us. Other hotels typically serve until 10am.
