No frills, almost austere, business hotel

Cons: Service
Location: Very close to IT and financial centers. Lot of good eateries around. Good roads.
Remember choosing a reservation on Expedia which included breakfast, but was asked to pay a breakfast fee at the hotel. On cross checking, found it in the fine print at the bottom of the Expedia itinerary that there is a breakfast fee. So be wary when you book. Am not sure if it is the fault of Expedia, the hotel or my mistake clicking the wrong option- couldn't find a way to figure out. Please note that check in time is 2 p.m and they charge additional amount for early check in - I reached after 10 a.m and had to pay extra.Same with check out beyond 12. With all the extras it might be worthwhile looking at other 'higher end' options around... The room was bare and functional- hardly anything luxurious about it. However no complaints about the cleanliness- looked like a new hotel. Lobby looked interesting. Breakfast had a reasonably large spread, food was okay. Locker was not functioning-my valuables were inside and the code was correct, so had to call a technician, who arrived the next morning. If you need just a nice bed to sleep and go to work the next day, this hotel may be good.Else, check out other options, there are plenty around.

This is a pretty basic hotel with a great Asian restaurant. The room was clean but VERY basic. A couple of items prevent a better rating. The refrigerator in the room was non-functional and was not repaired over my weeks stay. Towels were thin but normal for the area. The TV had no international channels - also normal for the area. The staff was friendly. They weren't all that familiar with Hotels.com prepayment and tried to charge me for the pre-paid room at check out. A mistake that was quickly and painlessly rectified at check out but not a mistake that should have been made.

It was ok. Hyderabad isn't a great destination. If you're going it's probably for work. Lemon Tree was just ok in my opinion. Not bad but not great.
