“As others have said the stairs were a killer - but it was so worth it for the amazing views (from two terraces). The property was huge and with loads of interesting features (including a canon and seagulls hanging from the ceiling). It was a fabulous place to just ‘be’ and spend time relaxing. There were a few bits in need to repair (including one of the banisters, which was very wobbly) but that’s a minor quibble in an otherwise lovely stay.”

“We had the most wonderful stay at the Akanthos Villa. Our host, George, was welcoming, communicative, and kind; he made sure that we were comfortable and well taken care of. The villa itself is very beautiful and quiet, located just a 5-minute walk from the main port. A charming and spacious historical home which was perfect for our family during our Easter holiday. We will be coming back again! Thank you, George!”

“Property spacious. Views amazing and pool lovely. Pool is shared with two other properties, but we had it to ourselves. Almost rates 5stars except for broken hob and dishwasher. Manager knew problem with hob as said it had been fixed before but kept breaking - obviously needs replacing. Not great with a large family to cook for. Dishwasher was also broken. BBQ was also missing racks so only one level to cook at. However, if these things fixed property deserves 5*.”
