Very Quiet

Good: We received a complementary upgrade to a river view room which was great! The room was honestly one of the quietest rooms we have ever stayed in too! It was very clean. Bad: There was a definite old, musty smell in the room and halls. The knobs on the A/C unit seemed misaligned and didn't work right. I had to tweak with it for awhile to get it running. And we were surprised they didn't provide conditioner along with the shampoo. Would stay here again though. Overall 3 stars.

Beautiful location, next to the river & falls

We loved the private bridge to the river trail. Beautiful view of the lds temple as well.

The hotel and grounds look very nice and the room was okay. Things are a little dated. The theme is a mixture of Paris and Yellowstone, so that was a little odd.

Nice hotel. Right on the riverfront.

Huge, nice lobby. Rooms could stand to be remodeled, but were sufficient Best part of it is that its right on the Snake River riverfront walking trail, with falls right down the path. Very pretty.

Nice hotel - Girl fight

Overall pretty nice except for the kitchen help fighting while we were trying to eat breakfast. Awkward as hell.

Nice place to stay

Pros: Very roomy
Cons: Vacuuming under bed, I found someone's tablets, which a child could mistake for candy.
Location: Beautiful walks and gardens, very pleasant
Set alongside the Snake River, it is an easy walk to beautiful parkland, river views and downtown. There are a few restaurants around if you don't feel like walking too far. Rooms are big and very pleasant. Ask for a balcony room if you like to relax and enjoy a view of the river. with a glass of wine. Enjoyed our stay here.

Great River Walk

Pros: The room was open, comfortable and made you feel at home.
Cons: It was great.
Location: The falls in Idaho falls were very close as was shopping, places to eat and sights to see. All within walking distance.
Facilities were excellent, bed very comfortable and access to the pathway by the falls and river was great. We enjoyed the walk after dinner.

Declined since last visit in May 2016

Location: River walk is nice
Hotel room and general appearance has declined noticeably since our visit one year ago. The shower/bathtub would not drain. While taking a normal 5-10 minute shower I ended up standing in dirty water covering my feet up to the ankles. Same slow drain at sink. Went down to included breakfast at 7:30 and coffee was empty, only one fork left, and most of food was gone. When I told the lady at the front desk she immediately got up and made coffee and spent time refilling items. Nice recovery, but buffet should not run empty. We went to McDonalds because food simply wasn't available when advertised. We purposely booked Le Ritz because our stay last year was nice, but things seem to have gone downhill in the past twelve months. Not worth taking another chance.

Not so good

The room was not very clean. I stayed there 3 days and the housekeeping was inconsistent. Things that were on bathroom floor and outside of bathroom on carpet when I arrived, were still there when I left. The coffee maker had water in it when I arrived. One of the days the pot was not rinsed out. One of the days my hand towel and wash cloth were not replaced. I put the sign on the bed that I didn't need my sheets changed, but then they didn't make my bed one of the days. The breakfast was exactly the same all 3 days and was not very good. I would not stay here again.

Great experience

Our stay at the LeRitz was very enjoyable. Everything was ready when we arrived. The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable and my family really enjoyed the hot breakfast the next morning. We would definately stay here again.
