Nice aparthotel very close to the downtown Rennes
Everything was as expected. The room was clean and well equipped. We had two rooms and in one of them some family members were complaining about the quality of the mattresses. In my room they’ve seemed fine. Maybe a bit too soft, but it might be a matter of individual preference. Couldn’t understand why only two towels per room, a face one and a larger size one. But otherwise good location and overall value for the price.

We are kind of new to Aparthotels, but really liked the convenience of the well equipped kitchenette, especially during the tripling Covid times. The staff was friendly and informative.

Good value for the money
The price and quality met very well in this hotel. Hotel was well situated, very close to the city center, but still the atmosphere there was calm and peaceful. The room had enough space and kitchen was well equipped. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was ok. The staff spoke English well enough. I would defenitely visit this aparthotel again and I recomend it strongly :)

Good value for money in central Rennes
At walking distance from the city center, very clean apartment and helpful staff. Good value for money. Only point to improve is to put a communicator/interphone on the access gate of the parking. First you have to go to reception desk, leaving the car in an area without parking places, afterwards they give you the key allowing to enter their garage.

Room was clean and comfortable. Having kitchen facilities was a bonus. Hotel was was within good distance to city centre. Parking nearby was impossible but once we had booked in we were able to secure a space in the underground car park.

The hotel staff were exceptional. Extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Very good location for exploring Rennes and close to Metro from where you can go to the main train station for St Malo which is definitely worth a visit.

Great value for money
The girl at the Reception desk was really sweet and helpful (Valerie I believe). The aparthotel is located close to the city center. The serviced flat was fine (note - no daily cleaning). The breakfast was quite nice. I would recommend the place.

Centrally located
Second time I've stayed here. It is a basic, budget place. Nice little kitchenette. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is good. Underground parking a real bonus. No frills, just a comfortable place.

Nice stay in Rennes
I stayed in Rennes for 3 nights for work. The Aparthotel is located very near city centre but very quiet, with lots of food options.

We had a short stay (wife's conference). It appears that most guests are on extended stays. We used the underground parking, which worked beautifully. The location is just fab. The staff were also fab, and fluent in English at the front desk. The rooms are pretty large and comfortable.

The accommodation and location was perfect for me!
I was very happy with everything and the very helpful staff, especially with the transitions important to a visitor from another country. The kitchenette was very efficient. I really like the decorating and the layout of the studio. I only had to soften the quite firm bed mattress with a quilt on top of the sheet to sleep well. This was a solution.

Convenient for location
The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Bear in mind that at the hotel they don't replace the towels on a daily basis unless this service is paid for and the room is only cleaned by housekeeping if you are there for longer than 7 days. Lovely budget hotel with the facilities for cooking to be done in the room. We will be back to this hotel.

Impressively clean room. The bed was very comfortable (I like a firm mattress). The staff were mostly very helpful & at times went out of their way to make my stay go well. The room was of a good size with good enough facilities and equipment. For the price this is an excellent place to stay. At times the noise from outside the hotel - from its garden - was a bit much. Don't expect to have an early night in peace & quiet. But this is actually looking for something to criticise as it wasn't in any way a significant issue! It provided easy walking access to the fascinating Old Town of Rennes. I have already recommended it to friends.

Ideal location to explore a lovely city
This hotel is in an ideal location for exploring the city of Rennes, within easy walking distance of the centre. Secure underground car parking at a reasonable charge is an added bonus. Hotel is clean; staff pleasant and helpful; buffet breakfast available at extra charge if required, but we didn't use this facility as rooms were adequately equipped to prepare breakfast, snacks, etc. for ourselves. Easy driving distance north to Mont St Michel - don't miss a visit to this iconic spectacle!

Stop over in Rennes
Second time we have used this accommodation. It is a good location because it only takes minutes to walk into the center. There is parking at the hotel which is handy - but the cost does mount, it is chargeable every day.

An acceptable stay
The hotel is perfectly acceptable but not outstanding, however I cannot fault the reception staff who were all friendly and helpful. The rooms are reasonable value for money but the breakfast is charged separately and is, in my view, quite expensive. One drawback of being on the ground floor was that there was no window in our room, only a door which we did not feel comfortable leaving open all night, so the room was very stuffy.

The central location was excellent. There was some parking on the street outside or secure parking for a fee.The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and modern. The kitchenette idea especially having a fridge. The room was an ideal size for two, certainly sufficient room unlike many other places. Pet friendly. I can't recommend it more highly for the price.

We stay at this hotel because it's nearest to where our family lives, but it's in a quiet area just a short walk from the bustling centre of town - there always seems to be something happening in this lively student town, and the big market on Saturdays is great fun. It's not the sort of hotel where you'd go back to your room to relax: the floors in the rooms are polished - sensible in the kitchen area but not very inviting around the bed, giving the room a clinical feel. It's efficient rather than comfortable. Good for self-catering though. Expedia included tax in the price, but we still had to pay it. Hardly a deal-breaker at 1.5 Euros, but a small hiccup in Expedia's accuracy. Perhaps they've corrected it now.

Really pleased.
Excellent value for money. Good location walkable to the centre. Everything spotless and spacious although furnishings slightly spartan. Good shower. Reception staff friendly on check-in, also helpful with secure car-parking in garage. Only stayed one night so didn't use extra facilities such as fridge, coffee-maker, etc. Unplugged fridge as this makes a little noise and is in the same open plan space as the bed (our only potential criticism if you're planning a longer stay).

Not worth the price
There was nothing particularly wrong about this hotel, in the same way that there was nothing particularly right about it either. It was simply ok. It was not far or close from the centre. And it was so plain I might as well have been in a hospital. It's not that I expected a luxury hotel but given the price of the rooms I definitely consider they should have put some more effort in making it nice. Moreover, we stayed for two days and they were meant to clean our room daily. The only think they did was to pull back the quilt on top of the bed, not even bothering to straighten the bed sheet underneath, empty the bins, or clean the used glasses in the sink. It wasn't dirty though... Overall, I think it is unbelievably overpriced I would surely not return there.

Functional small apartment offering good value
We visited Rennes to meet family and see the city. The hotel apartments are well located near the centre of the city. The apartment we had was fairly small but with a lot of storage. There was a small kitchen table with two chairs and a desk with chair plus a bookcase. There was no easy furniture. While we did not use the kitchen much it had a hob and microwave as well as a refrigerator. We were able to park the car in the underground car park early on the day of arrival well before the 3pm check in. We were also able to leave the car there after we checked out. Cost of parking was very reasonable daily rate.

Comfortable, spacious and simple hotel room for a family with mezanine floor with double and single bed additional to the double fold-out bed downstairs. Kitchen was adequately equipped to cook an evening meal. TV had some English programmes.

Disappointing
We stayed here for 5 nights, probably 4 nights too long. Not the cheapest apartment hotel in Rennes but apparently (based on ratings) the best. Good location but that is where good stops. With the exception of one member of staff the rest need to work on their customer relation skills. We booked a family room which was a good size but only had a shower but no bath, we have two children (5 & 2) neither of which like showers. We were switched to a "superior" studio, which did have a bath but no space to move around. In addition, the condition of the hotel room was poor dusty floors, chipped furniture and dirty walls. The microwave didn't work properly, the freezer compartment in the fridge was broken (they did provide a new fridge) and the room, which over looked the street, was too hot. At night we could either overheat and sleep badly or have the windows open be comfortable but sleep badly because of street noise. We gave up asking the staff for help as they couldn't or wouldn't do anything to help. When I mentioned that the hotel wasn't too family friendly all they said was they didn't really cater for smaller children. Good for adults or families with older children but not young families.

Briilliant studio room!!
My husband and I thought the studio room was perfect for what we needed. It meant we could eat in or out and do as we please. Very impressed with the cleaniness of the whole hotel, the receptionist was a delight, very helpful and polite. Although the hotel wasn't in the most perfect location for us, it was the type we needed. Great to have hotel underground parking although it was a bit pricey at least we had a safe and guaranteed parking spot. We were disappointed in the breakfast on offer and it was not worth the price. Nice quiet location.
