Nice place to stay.

I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel was clean and close to the city. It takes about 15 min to get to most of the sights. Which is worth the drive because you are saving money on parking by not being downtown. The staff was quick to check me in and out, and very respectable. One lady in charge of breakfast on Sunday closed it down 15 min early while people were still eating. Luckily we had gotten there sooner. But that was a problem for later risers, being that breakfast stops at 10. (10 on sunday, 9 during the week). But Monday and Tuesday that problem did not occur. The room was clean and the location is safe. They have smoking rooms so the hallway smells like smoke, but the non-smoking room we had was fine!

Dirty

Bathroom had a strong odor of urine, and the toilet was visibly dirty. Also, when we turned down the bed, we found a long, black hair on the underside of the top of the comforter. The bathroom itself was uncomfortably tiny with the sink, mirror, and vanity in the main part of the room, right in front of the door. The king mattress was comfortable, however the rollaway bed mattress our daughter slept on was very thin and old. She said she could feel the bed frame through the mattress and has back and hip pain as a result of sleeping on it for two nights.

Came into town for a memorial service. Usually stay at Red Roof in Midfleburg Heights, as I am originally from Brook Park but that was too far to drive to funeral home. Tried booking Red Roof here in Independence and they tried to charge $15.99 service fee. That’s when I started looking and found you...so glad I did!

Updating needed.

Nice staff, the room need updating. The chalking around the shower has a little black mold growth. It needs to replaced. The carpet had a stain in it.

Pretty expensive for the size of the room.

Pros: The location is close to major highways.
Cons: Provide non smoking facilities when requested, and provide better value for the customer.
Location: Great restaurants in the area.
I requested a smoke-free room. After exiting the elevator, I was hit with the smell of cigarette smoke in the hallways. I noticed that my room smelled of smoke. The room was fairly small for the price as well. I will now associate my mediocre stay at this LaQuinta with any other LaQuinta hotel, and I will purposely avoid staying at other locations in the future.

The room was clean and well prepared. Tub calk was discolored and could be replaced. The continental breakfast was a nice convenience. I will stay here again if I need to stay in Cleveland

In desperate need of updates

We were there for just a quick overnight stay and didn’t have many needs as far as luxury. Good thing, because you won’t find it here. All we really needed was a bed and a shower, so it served the purpose, but the TV didn’t work (didn’t complain because we didn’t really need it) and the walls and carpeting were in poor shape. The floors are thin as well, we could hear the people upstairs walking around and you could hear their TV, so it was fairly obvious this building was built on the cheap. If you need to save a few bucks and all you need is a place to crash for a night it’s fine, but if you’re looking for something to stay at for a few nights, don’t pick this place.

Room was comfortable,, but door lock broke couldn't fix had to pack up and move to another room. Breakfast could have been better, Overall stay was good.
