Not too bad at all.Posted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: Good location for us. We made several trips to Carmel, and also Lucas Oil Stadium. It was between the two, and really close (~3 miles) to the airport.
Cons: Include the room cleaning to all rooms if Saturday is the day. In our rare case, yes, you would have had to do it on Sat & Sun, rare incident I'm sure
Location: Less than 10 interstate miles to Lucas OIl Stadium. About the same distance to the Speedway. Convenient, not walking distance but quick drives.
Just about the first thing significant we were told at check in was since we were only staying 3 nights, Th, Fr and Sat nights there would be no room cleaning. I was slightly disappointed in this since they did other rooms on Saturday. Oh well, not the end of the world. They did provide a laundry basket that we could use to exchange towels and linens if we felt the need. The room itself was small. It had a queen size bed that took up about 3/4 of the living room. There was a desk and a love seat in the room as well. The kitchen was almost half the size of the living/bedroom, meaning it was big. They also had 3 propane grills on a patio of sorts that are a nice touch. Being called the "Airport Candlewood Suites" concerned me about airport noise. We only heard 1 jet the first evening we were there. After that, we never heard a single one. Very relieved about that. Our shower head felt more like you were standing under a fire hose, and also lacked adjust-ability to tone it down. All in all, no real regrets on the choice to stay there. It represented a better value than any other decent hotel in the Indy area and that was what attracted me to it. If you are ok with accepting those tradeoffs, I don't hesitate to recommend it to you.

No problems, quick maintenance service, allowed pets, grills, cooktop, no oven, but can borrow toaster oven from front desk.

"Home away from Home"Posted May 8, 2015 on Hotels
Love the hotel! Very pleased with staff, location and the room. Previously stayed at this hotel, in 2008 after a fire in our home. I can't say enough about how special the staff made us feel. Now, with remodel of the our home again for updating purposes, we chose our other "home away from home"! Great services just when you need it!

Close to the airportPosted Apr 27, 2015 on Hotels
At check-in the staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and met all expectations. The elevators were a little iffy when running but in spite of all of their clunks and rattles, there weren't any breakdowns while I was on them. The hotel seemed to be somewhat isolated from restaurants. But the commute to the downtown area and specifically the convention center was very convenient. I'll definitely keep this location in mind on my next trip to Indy.

Pros: Location and cost
Cons: Update rooms
Location: Convention center and other attractions were nearby
Experience was uneventful. Stayed for about a week while attending conference. Convenient location. Rooms were very adequate and nice but could be about time to refurbish.

Great stay!Posted Apr 22, 2015 on Hotels
Was pleasantly surprised at the hotel's cleanliness and upkeep. Rachel, the front desk clerk, was really nice and went out of her way to make me feel welcome and to offer help. The room was totally furnished with everything I needed to cook my own meals and clean-up afterwards. First time in Indianapolis, but if I ever come back that way, I know where I'll be staying.
