A Comfortable Stay

Pros: Its staff, location, and cleanliness.
Cons: A working vending machine on the 3rd floor.
Location: The location was perfect for us in terms of restaurant choices and proximity to family.
The arrival experience was pleasant, quick, and informative. The room was clean and had several of the appliances that would make the stay enjoyable. The staff was very helpful in providing towels and making sure that we had all that we needed. Breakfast was good as a variety of breakfast items was provided. The lady in charge of that area was very helpful by way of asking if there was anything that she could do to make sure that our tastes were satisfied. The location of the motel was perfect for our needs to visit with family.

Double charged

This hotel double charged me. We had chosen the option to pay at the hotel since we preferred to pay this trip with all cash. We got there and told the front desk clerk this. She said that was fine. She did say we would need to pay a deposit. No problem. We did all of that. We went to the room and stayed the night. The room was just fine. The breakfast was decent. We got our deposit back after breakfast after they checked the room. The next day I check my bank account and they had also charged my card. I called and got the run around and was made to feel like they didn't believe that I'd actually paid cash. The manager on duty was rude. I had a receipt that showed where I had paid cash. Then, she tried telling me it was all hotels.com's fault. I needed to call them. I told her absolutely not. It was the hotels fault for initiating the charge and she would take care of it. After arguing with her for far too long, especially since I was on vacation, she said she'd call them. She called hours later and left me a voicemail saying they'd give me a credit back and claiming that they made me pay cash because my card had been declined. What? That doesn't even make sense. I chose to pay cash and if it had been declined then why was I charged on it. Ridiculous.

Decent one night stay, good value for the money.

All in all a very nice one night stay. My husband and I plus another couple used this as a stopping point in a road trip as we were due in Indy early the next morning. Nice furnishings, comfortable beds, plus a small couch and refrigerator, and decent free breakfast. The pool was very small with no hot tub and it closed at 10pm, so that was a downside. I wouldn't wanna spend a vacation here but it served it's purpose to us. Front desk clerks were very nice. There was a red lobster and texas roadhouse down the street. I'd recommend for a one night stay.

The lady at check in didn't know what she was doing. Charged my card before confirming the total. My a/c wasn't working right. Vending machine on my floor was out of order. My key card did not work for the outside entrances and had to be reset.

the staff was so friendly and helpful! everything was clean and well maintained. our only issues were that the phone in our room didnt work and that our tv remote needed batteries, both issues were quickly fixed. parking lot was well lit, doors were secure. i would definitely stay here again!
