Not a 5 star place but did the job for the weekend. Seemed like a cheap place but had a hot shower, ac, and a bed so can’t fully complain.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield at Southern Ave in Indianapolis. The rooms were clean, service was fantastic, staff were very courteous. Clarence Patton - Asst General Manager went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good stay. He also explained about the places to go around and did it with a very pleasing smile. Will give it a perfect 10/10.

ALL of the staff was great!!! Mindy, Clarence, & Steve and the desk staff when we checked in on the Friday night - all very friendly and courteous. Don't know her name - but the lady who was in charge of the breakfast - also great. Clarence did a cartwheel in the lobby for my 7 YO granddaughter who was in town for the cheerleader competition. Above and beyond!!

The team members were extremely helpful and their reaction time was immediate. The breakfast was amazing Thursday-Saturday but when the regular person wasn’t there for breakfast on Sunday, it was definitely lacking. There are some upgrades that need to occur in this facility and although they said they are scheduled for the end of the year, there are small things they can do now such as fix the TVs in the gathering area in the lobby and the workout room.

Fairfield Inn is a good choice for an overnight stay. It was quiet, there was a nice breakfast spread and the desk personnel were quite friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that I was unable to turn down the fan in the room. I found it rather loud.

Disappointed that the pool was closed. But the worst thing was that there was something white and disgusting on the sheer curtains. It looked like a bodily function and it completely grossed us out. Made ya doubt the cleanliness of the rest of the room. Also, there was not a great selection of food places around. The website said there was a restaurant on site. There was not!

Great overall experience
Very nice hotel, tucked away from the interstate with great dining options within minutes. Check-in was smooth and Room was nice, no issues. We were looking for a place to have dinner after traveling and The Library Restaurant and Pub was recommended. It exceeded our expectations in terms of atmosphere, service and the food, wow! The hotel offered lots of breakfast offerings, hot food on bland side, went out second day. We would stay here again if in the area.
