I stayed 4 nights at the Hampton Inn on South Meridian in Indianapolis. You jacked up the rate to over 3 times usual because of the eclipse. I did not get housekeeping ONE SINGLE DAY. Tuesday and Wednesday, there was no hot water so I had to shower and shave in cold water. So far not a word from the manager despite the fact I have a Hilton Case number bringing these items' to their attention.

Getting a late check out And making sure the do not disturb sign is hanging on the door knob doesn’t keep house keeping from banging on the room door at 8:30am until you open it and tell them to go away.. had to run the shower for a good twenty minutes before any warm water would appear.

Place was clean but very out dated. Beds need upgrading. Springs creaked all night. Felt like sleeping on a box. Suggest updating bathrooms; take out bathtub, replace with walk-in showers Hot breakfast eggs, sausage were bad

Our room was very expensive. The building is old and could use a remodel but it was clean for the most part. Breakfast was average and the staff was friendly. Our room smelled like smoke and you could hear everything outside all night long. We were on the 5th floor. It’s a $200 hotel room not $600.

Pay to park everywhere in downtown - street and garage parking costs. It IS within walking distance to the mall, pacers stadium, and lots of food choices. Though anywhere you choose to eat that has live music - does not allow children.

The carpet in the hallways was stained and very dirty, the paint on the ceiling in our bathroom was peeling off. The hallways had a bad odor. The property was in a good location and the staff was fine, but the conditions of the rooms were not up to the usual Expedia recommended hotels.

Liked the art-deco charm of the building. Room was spacious (King-suite). Staff were friendly. Breakfast was as expected, nothing special but sufficient. Was told prior to booking that there was free self-parking but this is not the case. There is no free parking downtown. Does not have covered parking. We opted to go with the valet parking. Some noise from night life nearby, but hotel can't control that. Convenient to restaurants in the area. Would stay there again.

Definitely request an inside room. We were on the street side across the street from the bar. We heard music and partiers until 3am and traffic roaring up and down the street. Everything else was fine. Great location to venue!! We will stay there again BUT hopefully they will honor our request!

The HVAC system was so loud when it kicked on, did not sleep much. Liked the location. Ice machine was not working on our floor.

This is an older downtown hotel. Clean room, good bed, bathroom fixtures are older. BE AWARE OF VALET PARKING. You cannot self park at this hotel. It will cost you $40 for covered parking. The only free option is to park on the street downtown.
