My weekend stayPosted Nov 4, 2015
Pros: Clean, seemed modern and in good shape. I used the workout facility and the pool, good free breakfast. Good location for me.
Cons: Don't inflate the rates if the Colts have a home game. I know that is the nature of the business but I found it annoying.
Location: Plenty of shopping and dining nearby. Downtown Carmel has lots to do.
I found the staff friendly and the hotel in good condition. I used the exercise facilities and the pool. The free breakfast was very good, good assortment with some healthy options like turkey sausage. Only drawback is I think they may inflate their rates when the Colts are in town since this is not too far from downtown, but most of the places I looked into do. The bathroom was a little cramped but the room was spacious. Mini fridge was convenient.

Overnight StopPosted Oct 13, 2015
Overnight stay on our way to South Bend for Notre Dame football game. Good location. Beds were too firm. Air conditioner did not cool the room. It sounded like it was going to explode and then stopped all together. Arrived late so didn't bother telling front desk until the morning check-out. Miserable night trying to sleep.

Modern style for a Holiday InnPosted Sep 30, 2015
I stay at Holiday Inn Express a lot for work and they are sufficient, this trip was not business and in a state I rarely visit. The HIE in Carmel is modern and nicely decorated. I wish all HIEs were like this! The bed and linens were comfortable and the staff was pleasant and helpful when needed. The location is located right next to great shopping and there is a beautiful nature trail directly behind the hotel property. It is a short drive to downtown Carmel and the Arts District and very close to Indianapolis. I did not try the complimentary breakfast because there was an amazing breakfast cafe in Carmel that I ate at every single day of my stay.

Good service, location, and breakfast. I liked that they had firm and soft pillows (labeled). Room was clean and staff was friendly. Good experience.

It was great. We were mostly downtown Indy so there was a little drive but the hotel itself was fine.

Pros: The breakfast and room were overall nice.
Cons: The friendliness of the manager, and the bathroom.
Location: The hotel is in a great location with plenty of food and shopping choices.
We booked a 2 bed room, when we got there we were put in a 1 bed room. When we questioned it they said they don't have 2 bed rooms any more after remodeling and that expedia is not updated.... well I suggest you update it before it cause major problems for someone.

Below Expectations.Posted Jul 28, 2015
Room was not ADA compliant. The hotel was shabby and in need of remodel. The only elevator did not seem safe and it's inspection permit was not valid.
