Nice hotel but....

When checking in we had to sign a noise ordinance that threatened up to a 500$ fine. I understand being respectful to other guests and was more than happy to comply. The next morning at 630AM they started doing construction in the room above us!! I called the front desk and they basically told me to get over it. Terrible service won't be back.

Location: close to the Fashion Mall, Whole Foods, several pizza places
Our family (2 adults + 2 kids) stayed here the weekend following Christmas. By far our favorite aspect of the hotel was the room layout. With two rooms, people could watch TV in one room while others read and did quiet activities in the other room. There was also plenty of closet space and ample drawers/sink top in the bathroom area. The hotel's breakfast area is nicely lit and decorated. The decor in our room was rather drab, and the furniture was dated. They are currently renovating some of the buildings, so things might be updated soon.

Somehow the hotel prefers dogs barking over humans talking. Walls so thin you can hear conversations and participate. You can complain about that but not the dogs barking.

Stairs to room need major repair...front edge of two stairs rounded...hard to hold footing...temporary check in area seedy..should have warned about renovation in advance...price should have been further reduced

Housekeeping needs to shape up

In making coffee in my room, the amenities were old and dried out. It was an embarrassment to allow those products to be in a room where I would not be able to get coffee early in the morning during my stay.

Stay away!

we have been on the road for a month and a half - at a different hotel each night. And this is the worst we've experienced. Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name on this property. The lobby is completely torn up in a remodel and so they basically have card tables set up in a tiny room to check you in. This is the same room where they serve "breakfast." The food choices were appalling - boxes of sugar cereal (ie Lucky Charms) packaged PB&J sandwiches, oatmeal packets, and plastic cups of lemonade. Yuck. The only thing we could use were the bananas. I saw one person eating outside, if anyone else was I guess they took it to their rooms - easy to do when it's all in packages. The night we arrived I went to get change for laundry and was told I could do any because it closes at 10:00! (This was at 9:10!) Are you kidding? We had only just arrived. If Also, dishes with dried on food. And the toilet ran CONSTANTLY! Add in the beat up stairs (no elevator) and no pool or hot tub (closed for season.) They should close the property until construction is complete and they can operate somewhat like a decent hotel. At a minimum, they should disclose this when making a reservation. If I could have left I would have but the bummer about prepaying on Hotels.com is you're stuck - no matter how bad it is.

Booked room for me and my friend. It was great being away from everyone and everything. You could enter the room and not come out. The room had Kitchenette, separate bedroom. It was nice...
