Wonderful place to stay close to downtown Indy wow

Posted Dec 12, 2016
Pros: decor
Cons: I wished it was not a community bath room but wasn't an issue because we were the only ones stay on that floor
Location: It was close enough for us to get to football game and shop.
I called last minute and was so impressed by the castle look of the place. it had everything I could have imagined. breakfast the next morning was amazing. I was especially impressed with the décor.

Thank you for the amazing compliments about our breakfast, décor and architecture! Nothing like a 110 year old building to wow the eyes! We do have mainly private baths available so please let us know your preferences for your next visit and we will find the perfect fit to meet your needs and budget.

This was a nice and quiet hotel. The walls are quite thin, however, and there is mot much patience for noise by fellow guests. Good romantic spot for couples especially senior citizens and witches.

Beautiful Getaway

Posted Dec 5, 2016
Staying at the Villa exceeded my expectations, the place had tons of character, the staff was wonderful and had great recommendations for food and drinks in the area. Having breakfast by the fireplace was perfect on a chilly morning! My only regret was staying one night.

Italian villa B&B

Posted Apr 24, 2016
Pros: An interesting historical hotel.
Cons: Better room temperature. An elevator.
Location: It is located in the artsy district of Indianapolis. Not much to do nearby and not close to downtown.
This is an Italianate home renovated into a hotel. There is no elevator and the stairs are rather steep. The bathtub is hard to get in and out of with no hand rails. The breakfasts are nice. My room was freezing. There was no temperature control in the room. It is a quirky hotel, and I wasn't in the mood for quirky. I sort of got used to it, but I would have preferred a more up to date hotel.

Historic we are! Rooms can have temperatures adjusted by calling the front desk. Guests can also open and close vents to control room temperature. Please give us the opportunity to make you comfortable in the future. We do not have an elevator. They didn't build them in historic mansions in our neighborhood. Sorry for any inconvenience. We will gladly help with luggage.

Great idea, stayed in a cheap room so could hear the person next door coughing, talking. Definitely no sex allowed unless you want the neighbors to hear everything. Beautiful historic home, gorgeous neighborhood.

Quaint and beautiful B&B!!

Posted Jan 5, 2016
Pros: Everything, including our small, but adorable and well-conceived room. Everything in its place. Perfect.
Cons: A pair of throw-away slippers and a microwave would have been nice, but they have thought of EVERYTHING else!
My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this B&B was. The staff was friendly and accommodating and we LOVED how cute and efficient everything was. The hot breakfast was also wonderful. We want to go back and stay there again!

Thank you for the great review! Most of our rooms have their own microwaves - if they don't, we have one always available in the Butler's Pantry.
