Parking is Awful!!

Pros: Walk to the canal and within walking to lots of restaurants.
Cons: PARKING!!!
Location: Lots of things going downtown Indy.
Parking garage that was $30 was full so was forced to use valet at $42. Which ok but then when wanted my car for an errand it took 30 min. to retrieve it. I find this terrible esp with the price of the hotel.

I understand your comments and wanted you to know we are comparable to many of the full-service properties in the downtown area. For more affordable options within walking distance, you can use the White River State Park Garage (across from the Fairfield) or on weekends the government garage which is attached via sky walk. Again, we enjoyed your stay and hope you will give us a chance to regain your confidence.

Great hotel in downtown Indianapolis.

Cons: Self-parking is somewhat confusing as the entrance to the parking garage is at the back of the hotel and the entrance is not obvious.
Very comfortable and quiet hotel. Convenient to downtown Indianapolis and convention center. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was great!

Nice hotel, great location

There were only 2 things that detracted from our stay - there's a charge for internet & the fact that parking is not included. Aside from that, things went very well. We were celebrating a special birthday & this hotel is in a great location to walk to area restaurants & attractions.

Currently Marriott does offer complimentary Internet to their rewards members and there is no fee to sign up for the rewards program. I also appreciate your comments about the parking. We are competitive with many of the full-service properties in the downtown area; however, if you would like something more affordable within walking distance, there is the White River State Park Garage (across from the Fairfield) or on weekends the Government Garage (which is attached via sky walk.) Excellent Hotel but Overpriced Parking ($37)

Great tasting food and very nice staff. Clean rooms and high end gym. Considering its location outside of the city's main drag, no football game and generally out of season I thought the parking fees at $37 per night was gauging. There is no other parking options and it stuck with me enough that despite the fantastic experience I would probably not stay again if parking was not reduced.

Great location, but not very clean.

A little disappointed in my weekend. The hotel is pretty, well located and most staff was very helpful. However, the valet parking was very slow and our rooms had housekeeping issues. My brother had a room with something red, perhaps blood, splattered on a wall and one of the glasses looked like someone had blown their nose on it. Both looked like they could have been easily cleaned. In my room, I asked my daughter to pick up her backpack and note paper I could easily see sticking out from under one of the beds. It wasn't hers. When I pulled it out it was labeled from a convention I'm not familiar with. It was obviously left by a previous guest. Let me repeat, you didn't have to kneel or bend to see it. She and I both noticed it all weekend and assumed it belonged to the other. In summary, excellent front desk/food service staff otherwise I've had better hotel experiences in Indianapolis for much less expense.

Big Blue hotel in downtown Indy

Cons: Some of the movies advertised wouldn't play.
My wife and I had been wanting to visit this hotel for a few years, just for the fun of it. We finally found a good deal on Expedia, and we had a great time. We were given a corner room on the 32nd floor looking west and north, over the White river and the IUPUI campus. We could see a lot of the city! We had a delicious room service dinner, and very nice breakfast in the morning.

No house keeping

The room was nice but I stayed 3 nights but housekeeping only cleaned my room only once!
