Our hotel room had an medow type odor.

Besides the smell, the carpet in the room was lose causing my husband to trip and fall. Upon leaving we brought this issues up at the front desk, but they seemed uninterested.

Gave us only double bed when we reserved king size. There were two of us ,they didn't change our room or follow up in anyway. Big hole in bathroom door! Seemed not to care that I reserved months ago.

Pros: The staff.
Cons: The decor, facilities overall.
Location: Better have a car because there's just one restaurant about a 10 minute walk away. It's good, but it was full when I got there and fuller when I left
Expedia gives it 4 stars but that rating must be outdated. The staff were really nice and the breakfast was adequate but the facility is in serious need of a renovation and it wasn't the cleanest place I've stayed in. Plus it's in the middle of nowhere. It'll do in a pinch but I doubt I'll be staying there again.

Decent hotel for Gencon or the zoo

Pros: The room was spacious and the bed was not too bad. I didn't feel springs poking me in the back as a I slept and that's a PLUS! Clean. Good breakfast.
Cons: I'll admit, the walls were really thin. We could hear people moving about in their rooms all night and some talking in the halls.
Location: The airport is close by and the Indiana Convention Center, Zoo, and Stadium are only about a 10 minute drive from this hotel.
We stayed at this hotel for Gencon for one day because it was cheaper than most partner hotels and closer. It's about a 10-12 min drive. It's easy to get to, in a calm part of town, and the rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was a la carte, but decent. I am easy to please with bagels and cream cheese and some tea or coffee, etc. my only complaint is the walls were so thin, if our neighbors were being rowdy (which they weren't, luckily) it would have been a rough night as we could hear everything. Steps. People in the halls. The airplane noise wasn't such a bother, really.

La Quinta Inn and suite

Worst of all the La Q uinta Hotel that I have ever stayed before. As for Expidia , I would avoid it , if possible.

Double beds were small. Older hotel, price should have been cheaper.

Okay for an overnight stay near the airport.

Pros: comfortable bed and quiet room
Cons: cleanliness and general condition of hotel
Location: The hotel is close to the airport and in an industrial area. Lots of restaurants nearby.
The hotel is in need of refurbishing, but the beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Clean enough but not spic and span. They do provide 24-hour shuttle service to the airport and breakfast as well as a wake-up call.

Easy access.

This hotel was pretty descent. My Mom, daughter and myself stayed here for 3 days for my daughter's bowling tournament. I was shocked, literally shocked at how clean the bathroom was. Breakfast was terrible though so needless to say we didn't eat breakfast after the first time. YUCK. Staff was extremely nice. As far as I could tell the sheets were clean and no stains that I could see. The hall way carpets could use a good cleaning and there a a slight odor in the hall also. The stairway had a fowl smell that made me nausious. I would definetly stay here again.

This was just a short, overnight stay because we had an early morning flight. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The morning breakfast was available earlier than advertised, so we were able to get something to eat before taking the early morning shuttle to the airport. The room was very nice.
