Room overviewPosted Oct 8, 2015
Pros: Close to conference
Cons: see above
Location: Was there on business, so did not venture far.
The hotel appears to be moderately filled with people who actually live there. Mother and child was waiting on the school bus outside the building. Would be helpful, if their WIFI was labelled with the hotel name and not room number as not all room numbers were listed, in fact only two rooms were listed, necessitating a call to the front desk for information. Room was not clean as there was debris in the tub and dust bunny hanging from the lighting over the bed.

The desk staff was very helpful and had good recommendations for restaurants that were within walking distance. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Affordable hotel close to downtownPosted Sep 21, 2015
Location: Walking distance to downtown Indianapolis; shopping, museums, Lucas Oil Stadium...ect
The hotel staff was great. The room was clean and housekeeping did a wonderful job. There was evidence of wear and tear but nothing unbearable. The room we were in was facing the street so we hear quite a bit of noise but the visit was great overall.

Okay if desperatePosted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Hotel was close to many tourist locations and dining places.
Cons: Light circuits, they should probably have this checked out.
I've never been fond of Quinta Inn but decided to give them one more try. While the hotel was in mainly okay conditions, the elevator was extremely small and felt like if you were in a can of sardines whenever you were in there with more than two people. We also experienced a power outtage right before our 7 pm dinner reservation. Needless to say, we missed our reservation and didn't make it there until close to 7:45 PM because they couldn't figure out why our lights wouldn't come back on and had us switch rooms.

Close enough to downtown...Posted Sep 18, 2015
Cons: Whole hotel could use a face lift
Location: You're 5 blocks from the circle. Everything is within walking distance.
The hotel isn't the nicest facility you'll find in the area, but the location makes the price appropriate. For about $100 a night you can stay 5 blocks from the circle and it isn't in a neighborhood that makes you wish you'd just paid to be somewhere else. The Indianapolis heliport is next door, so there is some noise, but I was on the third floor on the heliport side (I could actually see them landing) and it didn't keep me up at night. The staff were excellent. I was always greeted and they offered advice on where to go, eat, etc. If you're picky about the "Wow, this place is nice" factor, then pay another $80 a night and go further downtown. This is no honeymoon spot. But for a two night business trip, it's just fine. Overall I would stay there again.

Decent hotel, short walk to downtown.Posted Aug 15, 2015
Pros: Free parking and staff.
Cons: The one elevator is extremely small and very slow.
Location: Restaurants, zoo, entertainment all near by
We stayed here for Moto GP - the rate was good, free parking, easy access to downtown - a short walk, good free breakfast and a friendly staff. Room was clean, well maintained and quiet. Staff was very helpful with directions and other information.

The best downtown dealPosted Aug 6, 2015
I enjoyed our stay. The room was very affordable...and no extra charges for parking, wi-fi, etc. Walking distance to everything downtown. Clean room...great staff! The only down side I can even think of...is that we woke up around 10:00am and couldn't get any breakfast as it was over by 9:00am. If you kept your breakfast available until checkout times, it would have been the perfect stay. No worries though....we will definitely stay here again!!

Older Hotel with Friendly StaffPosted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast they offer. I was not expecting eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy!
Cons: The rooms could use a remodel and new windows. Our room faced a street and we could clearly hear the traffic go by.
Location: The location was good for our purposes. We were going to GenCon and the hotel is a little less than a mile away. Plenty of restaurants on the walk.
When we first arrived the room we were given was obviously not ready yet. The sheets were still piled up on the bed. It looked like the room was in the middle of being cleaned. We told the front desk and they apologized and instantly put us in another room. The second room was fine. It's an older hotel and looks like. The rooms are clean (except for some stains on the curtains) and the beds were comfortable. The staff was great and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Great experience for the price, I'll be backPosted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: Great front desk staff, great pricing, free parking.
Cons: I would have liked ice and water in the breakfast area (in addition to the juices, coffee, and tea).
Location: 15min walk to the circle, 20min walk to the convention center, both of which have great restaurants around them.
Obviously this isn't a luxury hotel however the rooms were roomy and clean, had a fridge and microwave, and the front desk staff was top-notch, noticeably better than those at many nicer hotels. If the location works for you then you can save a lot of money versus the more downtown hotels, yet you can still easily walk to the circle area. Also includes breakfast with great waffles and scrambled eggs, among other items.
