Going to be great after the renovations are done

I believe the staff are doing their best during a major renovation. However, when I overheard them mentioning to guests their "strict 8am to 6pm no-noise" policy, it didn't pan out. Right at 6:50am, in the room above me, it was clear that construction had started. It is likely the crew thought that whatever they were doing wasn't going to pounding or drilling, so it would be fine. However, paper thin walls didn't make for anything other than a rude awakening.
So, stay there if you have to get up early and it won't be a problem. Otherwise, I'd wait until after the fall of 2017, when they'll be closer to being done.

Thank you for the review. I hope you will accept my sincere apologies that your overall experience at the Indy Marriott was not excellent, due to the renovation noise. While there is never a perfect time to complete such a major improvement, I extend my apologies for the disruption. We pride ourselves on delivering a memorable experience and I am truly sorry we fell short during your recent stay. It was a pleasure having you stay with us, and we hope you will have an opportunity to experience the newly remodeled guestrooms in Q2 of 2017.
