Deadlock wouldn't lock, non smoking room smoke detector non-functional and room smelled extremely strongly of smoke, no toilet paper or Kleenex, holes on the curtain, electrical wall box literally hanging out of the wall, inside of the microwave rusty and caked with food, mattress is a ripped up foam pad, bath paint more chipped than paint, footprints (yes, footprints) on the ceiling, large drill holes in the counter top, burned out lights, one light that wouldn't turn off and contained to flicker, large pile of ramen noodles (I hope) spilled on sidewalk outside the door. I was blown away. Didn't sleep there. Instead just paid for it, found a $75 alternative hotel and felt blessed that I never have to stay in a place like this.

This was the filthiest place I ever been in my life… the room was not clean, smelled like an ashtray, seen mouse droppings, garbage was piled up by all the exits, and it was the creepy to were it felt unsafe… Please do not stay here if want a SAFE and CLEAN place to stay… it was so bad I left to find another room… The Royal Inn was a ROYAL pain in my @$$

We left, I have never left a hotel and stuck it out in some bad locations. But wow I'll post some pictures, terrible service, our "King bed" was maybe a full size.

I was on a business trip. The room didn’t have an iron, ironing board, or Kleenex. I had to engage with my customers with wrinkled clothes on. I thought those items were standard in a room? I saw a roach in the bathroom on last night of my stay.

Would rather stay in an extended stay room…
At first everything was great but as we got into the room there was a smell, like stale cigarettes. We tried to watch tv and the tv didn’t work. We checked out this morning but before we did we tried to shower and there was no hot water whatsoever.

Woke up with a bed bug crawling on my shirt. Should have known by the blood feeding stain on the sheets when I first got there the place had them. Check in / out was also really weird. Had to talk to some girl over a zoom call even though there was an employee standing right there. At one point I had to hold my credit card details up to a webcam for her to charge

In the few days I stayed there just recently. I have been eaten alive by bedbugs. The rooms are disgusting... These people don't even know how to mop a floor clean. You will ruin your socks and shoes and clothing just walking around in your room.. The cleaning staff is so incompetent, I gave up, drove to menards and bought my own mop, disinfectant, and bucket and decided that i needed to take matters into my own hands. the female senior staff receptionist is manipulative and untruthful.. raises fees, gas lights you for being upset about the hotels terrible conditions... It's an absolute S show over here... I am covered in head to toe with bug bites... I have pictures and videos to prove everything.. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. And I mean that with all my heart. I left early and decided to sleep in my truck.. I didn't get much sleep. And it was very uncomfortable but at least I was not getting chewed up by bugs... I am extremely upset with these people. And I will be demanding an entire refund.. If not I am going to sue them. Staying here actually caused damages. They will never get my business again.

First you must check in at a kiosk, second attendant is behind glass. No carpeting in room, a oil like film on the floor that makes it easy to slip. They include two very hard to open shampoo packets, couldn't open. Worse was the condition of their two sand paper like, extremely rough towels. Would never go again. Very Sketchy!!!

Check in computer was weird. The room was not even clean; still had old food boxes from previous guest. Sheet was not clean had to use personal blanket over bed. Shower head was not attached properly had water spraying from faucet and wall. Gross experience.
