Feeling fancy

Posted Feb 13, 2017
Pros: Very fancy; downtown location; comfortable bed/bedding; work space; large TV; relaxing shower
Cons: All minor - no ice bucket (wasn't the only guest who noticed); room insulation to deaden outside commotion; parking garage fees are excessive
Location: The hotel is on the circle in Indianapolis. The Circle Center Mall is within range, the monument; IUPUI; College HOF; great restaurants nearby
I wasn't at the hotel long to experience all of the amenities, but enjoyed the room and the staff was very professional. There was quite a bit of mechanical clatter within the building (water pipes were loud, could hear people in the hall rather easily, toilets flushing next door, etc.) but that was about all that would detract. The bed was comfortable, big TV, the work area that I used the most was spacious and well-lit. The shower was relaxing, and the room was very clean and inviting. I was in town for work, and got the hotel on a semi-blind offer from Expedia, and would say just as a person who doesn't book hotels often, beware of hidden fees. The $25 mandatory parking fee per day wasn't on the initial hotel listing as a cost, it was added extra after I booked the room, and there is an internet charge if you need streaming. Plus all of the high-end fee perks like $4 water and no complimentary anything that was made available like breakfast or snacks. Didn't need it, but it was something I just avoided.

Pros: the ubication
Cons: the iar condition
Location: it is down town
this is a nice hotel in down town indy but what didn't make me feel good is that the air condition was not working and my room was insanely hot whn i told the front desk about it they just told me that in the winter the air condition does not work i think that if im paying mor than 100 dollars for a hotel night i should recibe better conditions i know that was winter but ti have a room at 80 degrees is the worst thing in the world

Nice hotel close to everything

Posted Dec 8, 2016
Pros: Hotel was right in the middle of downtown. Everything I wanted to visit was within walking distance.
Cons: Nothing. The hotel was as expected.
Location: The hotel is within walking distance to convention center, football stadium and basketball arena. Several shops, restaurants, and bars nearby.
I booked this hotel last minute. I arrived in Indy for an event and was unaware of how nice the city was. The downtown area has lots of shops, restaurants and bars. The city is very clean and easy to navigate. If you haven't visited Indy, you should give it a try. It reminded me of a smaller version of Chicago. A great city for a weekend getaway. I'd recommend going for a sporting event or concert. The venues are very nice. Many of the downtown buildings are connected via skywalk, so you don't have to venture outside during a weather event.

A lesson on customer service

Posted Nov 20, 2016
Pros: The room was great and it was convenient to many of the downtown restaurants and tourist sites.
Cons: The front staff could be more customer oriented and helpful.
Location: It is right next to Monument Circle. The convention center, mall, historic sites are all within a few blocks. We were able to eat and shop easily.
An error in advertising or judgement? I chose the Sheraton over the other hotels since the ad on Expedia offered a two bedroom view of Monument Circle. We arrived around 6 on Friday evening. Upon entering our room, we found one king bed. We have a 6 and 2 year old. I called down and asked what happened; my reservation specified 2 beds. The front desk moved us to a room with 2 beds without a view. I then inquired about my view. I was told that there were no other rooms available. So we settled in for the night. The next day after fretting all day, I contacted Expedia and the hotel. I was worried I was paying a view room price since I had prepaid when I first made the reservation. The manager offered to comp the garage fees. I agreed to this. I got home and of course my credit card still shows the garage fees. The view room we didn't stay in looked fantastic. The room we stayed in is great. I just have a problem with the service I received. We could walk to all the interesting sites downtown.

Cons: Having someone up front at all times.
My wife was rushed to the hospital, I had to wait 5 to 10 mins. for someone to come out the office from the back to service me. I needed to get my car out of valet so I could go to the hospital. The valet driver were getting someone else car at the time. I didn't no this because there was no one to help me.

I am very sorry about your wife, and I hope all is well. However you are correct someone should be up front at all times, and I will follow up with my staff about this. I do want to thank you for taking time out of your day to provide feeback. Thank you and we look forward to your next stay with us.
