Skywalk was so convenient!

Posted Dec 5, 2016
We had no idea the hotel had a skywalk that connected us to the Indiana Convention Center! We went to the B1G Championship and only had to walk outside to cross the street from the convention center to Lucas Oil Stadium. We didn't even have to bring our coats! So convenient and warm!

Fine hotel, but can't handle conference craziness

Posted Oct 31, 2016
Pros: The room was fine, nice bathroom.
Cons: Mentioned above - can't handle the demand of conferences.
This hotel overall is fine and met my needs for business travel. However, I had 2 very odd mishaps while there. The day I checked in, I was given a key and sent up to my room where I found a room that had dirty bed sheets everywhere, left over food and obviously hadn't been touched by room service. I went back down they set me up in a new room, all good. Two nights later around 4:30 AM, I was awoken by a key card being inserted into my door and the door opening 3 times. If it weren't for the latch, the door would have fully opened. I called down and asked what was going on, they said they didn't have me in the system and were sorry they had given to someone who checked in late. When I asked them the next morning about it, all I received was a "we're so sorry." I'm not sure how I wasn't in the system since I was there for 3 nights...I'm not sure I will stay at a Springhill Suites again and definitely not the one in Indy.

Great Hotel, Close to Everything

Posted Jul 31, 2016
Pros: Location, Cleanliness, Comfort, Friendly Staff, Close to everything
Location: Concert, Park, Walking Trails, Malls, Restaurants, Zoo
We stayed at this hotel to be close to the park where my daughter and her friends were attending a Halsey concert. It was right across the street. I walked to the zoo and later downtown to the mall. Location was just perfect for us. The breakfast was really great too - - much better than I thought it would be. I would stay there again for sure. The parking was nice and the staff was so helpful and friendly in directing me to all the places I walked. Room was very spacious and bed was comfortable. Room has a nice a/c - it is a central unit (like what you have in a home) so it wasn't noisy turning off an on like in some hotels.

We hope you were able to enjoy the Zoo. We are so proud of all that it has to offer. We understand the extra step of using the key card in the elevator may come as a slight inconvenience but the added security for our guests is priceless. Thank you for your feedback. We look forward to having you back!

Could be a nice hotel right downtown, but...

Posted Apr 9, 2016
Initially the room was pleasing to the eye. Once we went to use the pull out couch, it was disgusting!! The huge stained mattress was unusable, especially since there were no sheets in the closet. The front desk clerk was very short and unprofessional in her responses to our questions. When asked about a price in the market we got a very sarcastic reply. The next time she was asked a question she accused my husband of hitting on her and coming down just to see her. The hotel served its purpose, but I've had more professional interaction at a Motel 6 than I did with this front desk clerk.

Lola, I was so disappointed to read your review. This is not representative of the way we try and take care of our guests at all. You should feel our spirit to serve the moment you walk through the door. Please accept our sincerest apologies for not taking the best care of you and your family. I assure you this has been addressed with the associate.

Great for the big ten tournament!

Posted Mar 19, 2016
Hotels in Indy go up s lot when it is the big ten tournament time. Or other conventions. Wish that the rates wouldn't triple and gouge customers like that. We did have a good time though and liked the hotel.

Clean quiet comfortable good food

Posted Mar 2, 2016
Great room with comfortable beds, great view, very spacious. We really enjoyed that there were 2 separate bathrooms in our room, one with sink and toilet the other with sink and bath tub/shower. Everything was clean and the staff was always nice. The only slightest hiccup was that the check-in clerk told people that the breakfast buffet was open until 10 but it closed at 9:30.
