Good hotel for those who are visiting Carmel

Good location, quite a big parking lot, nice rooms with kitchen and sitting area as well as office desk. Don't take a room next to elevator as its quite noisy.

Nice, clean, comfortable room

The lobby and room were nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and our three-year-old loved the couch and the big TV. The kitchenette had a small sink, a mini fridge, and a mini microwave. The living room/work area had a ceiling fan. The sleeping area was pretty comfortable. The only weird thing about it was that there was a big full-length mirror between the sink and the (separate) bathtub and toilet area. If you sit up in bed in the middle of the night, you might startle yourself. The king bed pretty much took up the whole side of that room. There was a lot of wasted space between the sink and the bathroom. The divider between the sleeping area and the living room didn't really do much to block the light from the desk/work area. It didn't really feel like a suite in that sense. I was trying to sleep while my husband was still using the computer and I had to put a pillow on my face to block the light, and he only had the desk lamp on. It was a lot quieter than the three other hotels (in different cities) we had stayed at previously though.

Good place to stay.

Pillows were all one kind, squishy. Couldn't sleep as they weren't hard enough. The front desk guy was a weirdo.

Nice hotel just north of Indianapolis

Pros: Easy to get to. Relatively large room with nice desk/office area. Nice fitness and pool area.
Cons: Breakfast not as good as other hotels in the same price range. Poor TV reception. Queens instead of double beds would be nice.
Location: 20 minute straight shot to the Children's Museum. Pretty cool to drive through the Historical District on the way to Indianapolis.
We chose this hotel because we stayed at a Springhill in Green Bay about a month ago and really enjoyed it. This one is a quick 15-20 minute drive to the Children's Museum, most of which is through the cool Historical District of Indianapolis. We soon discovered not all Springhill Suites are created equally. This one had double beds instead of queens, which we knew going into it but didn't realize what a difference it makes when sleeping 5. You have to move a small dresser from under the TV in order to pull the sofa bed out and still have room to walk to the door. The channels changed faster than most hotels, but the reception was poor. I was surprised by this given that the rooms all had Samsung TVs in them. We stayed two nights and hot breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and oatmeal both days. The "fresh" fruit wasn't very good: the apples were super soft and the skin wrinkled when you picked them up, and the bananas were still green. My only other criticism was the staff. We had just returned from the Children's Museum and a guy knocked on our door and asked us to keep down the noise. The person beneath us had complained about loud thumping all day, and he claimed to hear it too. Well, we weren't there from 9a-6p, so it wasn't us, but he thought since we had 3 kids it had to be. After he left I listened for thumping and all I could come up with was the heavy doors slamming all over the hotel. They literally shake the floor. Made the wife pretty upset

Roomy and great location.

We have a family of five so finding room for three growing kids isn't always easy, but the suite was a perfect size for us. Would have preferred queen size beds instead of full but all in all we were pretty comfy. We just took meridian street south a few miles to see some pretty amazing homes and fun things to do downtown. Holliday park was a nice find too. For LDS out of towners, this is a great place to stay for temple trips. It's so close!

Hotel was quiet and comfortable, just what I needed. My only issue was that it took a VERY long time for the bath/shower water to get hot, and even then it never quite got hot.

Spring Break in Indy
