Rooms where crap , I booked a double room then the property manager said that it’s extra for the double room so I got scammed out of more money then what I booked for. Staff was rude and ignorant.

Francisco,We went above and beyond to accommodate your mistake when you booked a double room with double beds. On the website it shows a room with 2 double beds. Not 2 seperate rooms. We have only one room that has 2 rooms and that is the suite. You didn't book the right room and we accomidted you by moving you after you used the room. The party used the shower and the room. We had to go clean that room again. You told us the room was not used and if we hadn't went and checked we would have given it to another person. You also had 4 people with you. That should have been charged also because the reservation is for 2 adults. We are blown away at the review you have left us. We should have had you contact the 3rd party you booked it through and had them change it. I feel we gave you great service from start to finish. I am not sure what else we could have done!

Worst hotel ever they tried to say I smoked in my room and charge me extra money super weird old guy kept following us around every time we left our room they said he was the grandpa of the hotel we felt very unsafe there staff was rude

Sarah,If you smoked in the room then yes you are charged a smoking clean fee for the cleaning that has to be done to get that smell out. You sign for this when you check in and you are also told verbally it is non-smoking hotel. Its Indiana law. Sorry about the old guy, he is 82 and likes to people watch.

Jill,I am sorry that the stay with us was not up to your expectations. We tried everything we could to please you also while respecting other customers also. We did notice you smoking in the room at which you admitted to us and told us to charge you. We thought it would be best for you to leave to another hotel with the remaining days to be refunded at which we did. Sorry that we couldn't make it better.

$100 damage deposit alert!
The stay was fine, the breakfast was fully carbohydrate as may often be expected. No eggs or cream cheese or peanut butter. Coffee was marginal. Mainly I am reporting that the desk clerk is tasked with the unpleasant work of explaining the poor communication on Hotels.com about their damage deposit policy. It is an ok policy which needs to be highlighted upon making the reservation. I paid by paypal but they state that their might be a hold on the deposit if you use a debit card for up to 7 days which is excessive. The staff are pleasant though!

Unfortunately we have talked with hotels. com and told them that it is important to notify the guests upon booking about the deposit, but still run into the issue of them not telling the guests. I am sorry for that and the misunderstanding.

If you are looking for glitz and glamour this isn't the property for you. But if you are on a budget like we were and want a decent, straight forward place to rest your head with a great location right next to Walmart and just about anything else you could need nearby then this place is a very good option. It's a no frills place but the continental breakfast is decent. The only complaint was someone slamming their door at 3am the first night. We stayed there three nights for an event in Indy and will stay there again next year. Safe, clean, friendly staff. Perfect for those on a budget. Just not fancy.
