The hotel let us check in early and staff was friendly. Waffle house is right next door but everything after that was awful. The room was clearly not cleaned, wiped down, or anything. The room smelled like old cigarettes so bad it made you gag upon walking in. The fridge had obviously not been cleaned and there where knats flying around and some even dead on the bed. Everything was so out of date, the bed blankets had cigarette burns in them. The dresser was broken there was no alarm clock. It would have been okay for a third of the price I paid, but what I paid I expected at least cleanliness. Had we had other options we would not have stayed but our original booking at another location was canceled last minute due to over booking.
So thankful for a reasonable place to stay - we just need a place to sleep, and this is it! Very comfortable. Nice to have coffee in the lobby all the time!

Friendly, helpful staff...but rooms needed help
The best part of the stay was that the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel also offered a Good, basic, breakfast.
The room, however had some issues:
-the TV turned on but would not allow me to access any channels
-The sink and bathtub backed up/drained very slowly.
-The sink faucet leaked (from the base onto the vanity and onto the floor, - not into the sink)
-Both chair surfaces were cloth. They were both pretty soiled. I covered the chairs with a clean towell in order to sit.
-Floors needed a good cleaning, my socks picked up a lot of dirt.
-Needed some basic maintenance like updated paint, and caulking around the base of the bathtub/shower and sink.
-Microwave was on top of the mini fringe but did not fit well - it was off balance.

The place was far better than the Extended Stay we stayed at our first two nights in Indy. It is a little worn down but comfortable. For about half the price of other hotels there, it is worth the money.
I had a non smoking room, I constantly smelled smoking. When I left my room and came back, there was a smell. I did not have tv or cable service for a day and half I was their. The pillows on the bed were older then dirt and the most uncomfortable pillows I have tried to sleep on. The noise was very clear in my room. You can hear running water. You can hear noise from the the ones who was in the top room above me. The room could use a good up grade. The pictures they have posted on their web page does no do due purpose. I get guess you get what you get when you go the cheap route. I was not impressed.
Front desk person didn't have 'friendly disposition.'

It was just old. Old cable box on tv- had to ask desk which hdmi to put it on for tv to work. Shower faucet was not secured to tub, screw sticking out that you could be cut on. Bedding was discolored (like bleach stains). Toilet rocked when you sat on it.

This motel was the definition of adequate. Nothing stood out as particularly good or particularly bad, except the staff. They were excellent. But considering all I was looking for was a bed and a shower, this worked out fine for me. This is a place to sleep, not a luxury resort. For what it is, and what I paid, I think it was fine.

I was surprised by the closeness of the Waffle House. It was virtually blocking any frontal view of the Super 8. Frankly, it was too close. The number of trucks was also a bit of a surprise. But their was room for them in the back lot parking lot. The lines of the lot were not symmetrical. So using the lines drawn while parking was difficult.
Had to have the manager come fix the TV. Found 3 bugs on the floor. The light switch didn't work properly. Hardly any water pressure in the sink.
Coffee at breakfast was luke warm.

The best thing about this hotel is that it is by the interstate and behind a Waffle House. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. It had a strong odor in the rooms because it smelled like it was just cleaned. It went away after awhile. The TV took awhile to figure out but it has a lot of channels. They have a small breakfast of eggo waffles, muffins and cereal. They also had juice, coffee and apples. It was a lot cleaner than other hotels that I have been in. It was very quiet even though it was close to the interstate. I would recommend this Super 8 in the south part of Indy.

It was close in location to family we were visiting. It was next to a Waffle House where we enjoyed breakfast. We could not get tv remote to work but that was ok as we didn’t try too hard

I liked that good customer service, good internet, clean room, microwave, fridge, tv, cable, lights ALL working well. Had to ask for nothing; all the required things were available, unintruppted internet, cable, heat, hot water.

Just a simple, no frills hotel stay at a good price. Really enjoyed the Farmer Bros. coffee ALL day in the lobby. Clean. Shower was hot and enjoyable. Bed and pillows very comfortable.
Room clerk was rude. Didn't like questions. Tub looked like it had been scrubbed with coffee grounds. Neither tob or sink drain worked very well Carpet worn and stained. No elevator and narrow stairs. Fridge, microwave, and tv availble. Indy is cold in January- how about turning on heat before guests arrive. Not the worst option fot yhe cost. But should be better.
Close to good restaurants. From sit down to fast food. No microwave in the room, Waffle House right next door though, so it wasn’t necessary.
Enjoyed my stay. I’ll be back.
