Received a dirty room at check-in.

When we first got checked in, we were given our room keys, unloaded our vehicle, only to get to our room to find it had not been cleaned from last guests. Sofa bed pulled out, all bedding on floor, awful small and tip still laying on desk from previous guest. Had to take luggage back out, go back to desk to receive another room. The response was "it wasn't cleaned because it didn't get put on list. If it happens with next room, you can come back down and slam my head on desk?" Was not impressed with that response. My sister came to visit our room and my nephew vomited so I went down desk to ask for something to clean it up. I get 4 towels and 2 garbage bags. He says they have no cleaner? I'm sorry, what do you clean your rooms with? You can't possibly tell me that you have never had a spill on a carpet & that you have never had to use cleaner to clean it up. So we had to go purchase cleaner ourselves to clean it up. I was very disappointed. I will say when I checked out that the young lady working was very polite and as I exited a man in a suit was just arriving and thanked me for my stay at your hotel. I appreciated that. I plan on future visits here and am unsure that I will book here again. I loved the fact it had a furnished kitchenette as I dislike eating out, I prefer cooking. It's too bad the experience wasn't better as I would book again here for sure.

Thank you for the lengthy comments about your stay. I do apologize the miscommunication when you arrived. Mistakes do happen and I am sorry this happened during your stay.
