We prefer to stay in the suite style rooms so this hotel worked well for us. It was easy to get downtown from this airport hotel. The staff were wonderful. They took such good care of us. The airport shuttle is great, very prompt. You do need to get on the list ahead of time. It runs from 5 AM to 11 PM, not 24 hours.

We picked this hotel for its proximity to downtown and the pool and basketball court for our boys. We didn’t use the pool because it looked so unclean, and we didn’t see anyone else in it either, so I don’t think our family was the only one that questioned whether it should have been open. It was green and the walls needed to be scrubbed.

I booked a two bedroom suite months before my arrival for a family stay to attend my daughter's wedding. When we arrived at around 8 pm on Friday night, the inexperienced woman at the front desk checked me into a studio suite. When I came back to complain that I didnt get the room i booked, they said that they were sold out and just to damn bad for me. No help in getting another room anywhere, especially after they lied and said that the entire city was sold out and I was able to go ACROSS THE STREET and get a room. The General Manager was just as bad as his low quality staff, so no surprise at the horrific service. There big compromise was to give me a room at a discount and tell me I was damn lucky to get it. I am writing Marriott corporate and letting them know how this staff is a diservice to their brand.

Extra fees and rude front desk
This was by far the worst hotel and ruined our trip. They charge fees that are not listed when booked. We found this hotel for our family of 6, it says on the website pet friendly and breakfast at 5 am (on Friday) so hotel was booked for $165/night for 2 bedroom suite on a Thursday. The total came to 235, then 100 pet fee (not listed on website and not a deposit, its a nonrefundable charge) i understand a deposit, and then the incentials is also not refundable. So a room we booked for $165 came to about $370. Our dog is 4 lbs and sleeps in a kennel. I said i would just sleep in the car with the dog and the lady said it didn't matter we still pay the fees. We had been driving for 14 hours with 4 kids and needed to sleep so we paid all her ridiculous fees, and were up at 5 a.m. to continue driving and went to breakfast to be told it it doesnt open for an hour. We chose this hotel because of 5 a.m. breakfast and pet friendly, this was a complete waste of money. Also the lady who checked us in was completely RUDE and heard her complaining about us on the phone when we went to the pool. I have never left a bad review at a hotel in my life, i usually make the best of a negative situation but this was ridiculous.

Check in went smooth...after that it went downhill. Upon entering the building our room was in...you immediately got hit in the face with the STRONG smell of Marijuana. This was on the 1st floor and could be smelled on the 2nd floor hallway and our 3rd floor room. I don't know if it was an actual occupant of a room or the staff. Either way it was unacceptable and the only reason I did not report it was because there were 3 other couples staying there with us...that and the fear of reciprocity. I would not have cared if I wasn't worried about failing a drug test. I highly recommend you look elsewhere in Indianapolis for lodging!

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you experienced this during your stay. We are a 100% smoke free property. Unfortunately, all guests do not adhere to this policy. We try our best to stay on top of these issues. If you did not report it how can we fix the issue? This would have been taken care of if we had the opportunity.

Upon arriving my reservation was not honored along with many other guests waiting to check in. I had to go to another hotel that I was directed to. Awful experience, a reservation should be just that .... a room reserved for me upon my arrival.

Great location!
Great hotel! Close to food, shopping and the race track. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was stocked normal complimentary breakfast. The pool was clean and nice. Only issue we had was linens for the pull out couch were asked for and never brought the first time. Will stay here again for sure

I booked my stay primarily off of others reviews, we booked a 2 bedroom suite and it was everything we could have expected for a one night stay. My only disappointment was that the online pictures showed a whirlpool tub in the suite and they both were standard tubs. But nothing that was super important. We had 2 beds 2 baths. A living area and a kitchenette. Breakfast was 5 star for a hotel. Will definitely stay again.

Best eggs ever
The staff are so friendly. The kitchen is stocked with useful items and a dishwasher so you don't spend your vacation washing up after yourself. I swear the continental breakfast serves the best scrambled eggs ive ever eaten.

Noisy property- I could fee the semis driving by on the nearby highway as I tried to sleep. Thin floors as well, one of my upstairs neighbors walked around from 2am until 4. Not much sleeping for either of us

Very pleasant and helpful staff, very clean. My only complaint is that the pool and hot tub room were so overwhelming with chlorine that we could not swim for more than 20 ish minutes. Not a deal breaker though, still pleased with our stay.

Clean, comfortable studio with a kitchen. Comfy bed. Nice, friendly staff. One of noisiest places I’ve ever stayed due to the location next to the expressway. Difficult to sleep. No recycling done. Nice breakfast, but only paper cups for coffee … no mugs. The screens on our windows were shredded and the windows in the building we stayed in (not the main building) really need a good cleaning.

Expedia overbooked the hotel, therefore, we couldn’t stay in the suite I paid $217.00 for and instead, had to break my family up into two rooms. Pool was disgusting and freezing cold to the point, we could not swim. Hot tub was disgustingly filthy and so overwhelming with chemicals, your eyes burned so bad, you couldn’t see.

The rooms were wonderful. The hot tub and pool were great. We picked this hotel because of transportation to and from airport. After being told twice they were on there way, they told us they werent coming. This was after over an hour waiting for them.
