Amazing retreat hotel close to many castelsPosted Nov 7, 2015
If you want a retreat type, romantic and cozy hotel close to the castels, this is the place. The driving towards the place was a delight, the staff gave us a 5+ star service, very attentive, very charmin, just amazing. The place is very beautiful at night and amazingly gorgeous with the day light. The restaurant had nothing to envy a Paris fine dining top 10 restaurant. I will stay here again if I ever get the chance to travel to France.

Cons: Swimming pool was supposed to be open but wasnt
Location: Close to villages , castles and vineyards
Loved this Hotel. Fantastic location and beautiful grounds . Great blend of historic chateau with modern facilities and rooms. Loved the restaurant and cocktail bar. Food and service were excellent. Close to Ambois and Chenonceau Castles which were a highlight of our trip. Would love to come again. Thank you for looking after us.

If you want to shay in a chateaux don't stay here.Posted Nov 1, 2015
Although this is a very nice hotel, I was VERY disappointed. This was my one and only chance to stay in a chateaux while I was in France and I was so excited. My excitement quickly went away when we checked in and I found out we were staying in an out building and not in the chateaux. I would not have stayed here if I would have know this.

Amazing, beautiful, idyllic!Posted Oct 28, 2015
Wow! Thank you so so much for the incredible stay in this amazing Chateaux! We are on our honeymoon from Sydney Australia and between visiting the big cities we wanted to find a romantic retreat in the countryside so caught the TGV fast train from Paris to Tours. On arrival at this amazing place we were instantly greeted with excellent service by the wonderful staff. We were fortunate to have one of the rooms in the main building which was gorgeous. The service and overall experience continued to go above and beyond our expectations. We didn't hire a car but would probably recommend having one as there were no taxis at the station when we arrived and the location of the hotel is a bit off the beaten track (which we actually loved). We had organised to see two chateaux (Chambord & Chenonceau) on a small tour which was excellent. The restaurant was the best! I would plan to have all meals there, the menu was varied & delicious and had accompanying wines. The chocolate mousse is probably the most delicious thing I have ever tasted, do yourself a favour and have at least one during your stay. We took another reviewers tip and went on the river in the paddle boat one morning, a big highlight of our trip. The little walk down to the river is a treat on its own (it's Autumn too) like entering our own secret garden and then it was a fun paddle. A couple of little fish jumped out of the water and it was a moment I'll never forget! We hope to return on an anniversary! Thanks again

Fairytale Castle HotelPosted Sep 29, 2015
Serene, romantic, very nice grounds. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was fantastic. Our kids loved running around in the grassy area and going on the wooden swing hanging from a tree.

Very nice hotel great service and locationPosted Sep 11, 2015
Pros: service situation and ambience
Cons: not much really
Location: right in the centre of France near to motorways A85 and A10 local chateaux and Paris only 2 and half hour drive
very nice hotel well situated as a stopover for a longer trip or for a longer stay to explore local area. Service is very attentive efficient and friendly right from the check-in. the hotel has a very nice ambience with a great pool and lovely grounds. restaurant meal was very good food and wine and again excellent service, very nice conservatory style tables not too close to each other. room was nice and clean wifi available free and nice touch was that they left some local sloe gin in the room if you fancied a pre dinner aperitif. overall the staff couldn't have done more for us and we would definitely look to stay here again maybe for longer.

Nice HotelPosted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: The setting and views.
Cons: Better directions for reception. Better pillows. Lift to first floor.
Hotel in nice setting - very pretty. Had trouble finding entrance and had to park further away. No lift to first floor so not easy with heavy overnight bags. Staff friendly. Room clean but bathroom on small side. Bed quite comfy but pillows not. Restaurant nice and food was fine.

Dinner at the terrace, Chateau behind the poolPosted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: Pool! View! Restaurant and Chateau!!!!
Cons: Wifi is unstable sometimes. Also for us like foreigners it would be really great if we can have salad or vegitables during breakfast
Location: Very close to Tours so if you have a car, easy access to many chateaus around and also visit misterious cave winery.
Of course as you see from the photos, the hotel is already super magnificent with the beautiful chateau and the pool in the garden. This already makes your trip surreal. But on top the hospitality was amazing!! the staffs are really kind and offers you help ahead. We went to the winery they suggested and we had extraordinary cave winery experience.. Finally the dinner was surved at the terrace looking over beautiful lanscape of Loir. Very romantic with great food. Loved it. The room is quite simple and you have everything you need. It's not luxury but like you feel relax and at home.
