Hotel was beautifully clean and tidy the lady on reception was lovely and helpful,only thing noting is there are no lifts,which we found strange for a modern hotel.

We arrived very late for checking. They had a phone number and we called and were able to get into our room. The view from the breakfast room shows the remainder of harbor that was left. The June 6, 1944 museum is across the street. GreT location. Rooms are small but clean

Very good overall
Very nice hotel. Very easy to find. Nice grounds to give the dogs a walk. Pleasant helpful staff and very comfortable. The only drawback was the evening meal in the restaurant was rather disappointing and we had to wait quite a while to be served with drinks. Nevertheless, we will definitely stay here again

The hotel is very fare away from city center. Must have a car to stay there. Food is expensive at the hotel, and no other restaurant near by.

Inexpensive hotel in the Industry/business area
I was here for 4 nights for work. The rooms are clean and the beds come with a pillow topper. The shower has good pressure and gets hot. The wifi is free and decent, which i found surprising for a small european town. The one thing i did not like about the room was that they essentially controlled the AC. It can get hot at night and there are no screens on the windows, so bugs tend to come in if you open them at night while watching TV. I had breakfast and did takeaway from the resturant. In both situations, i recommend that you go to the city center for a much better qualtity mean. The breakfast, in my opinion is overpriced for what it is. There are limited options, none of which are hot (i.e., eggs, bacon, etc.). The coffee they have is good, but you will need to buy the whole breakfast to enjoy a cup. The takeaway service was a bit of a pain. I was on hold for 10 min, got annoyed, so i went down there and the reception was not even busy. They realized i was on hold and did not really seem to care. I ordered the personal pizza and a glass of wine for 20+ EUR. For a pizza made from frozen dough and mediocre wine, take your business elsewhere.

Very friendly staff who organised a very good cold supper as the restaurant was closed on the Sunday evening that we arrived. Everyone we came across was charmingly and helpful

Having stayed in Ibis before we were looking forward to this stay but it proved a disappointment. While the hotel itself is in a good location and is well managed and clean there were a number of shortcomings. The bar area was furnished with modern plastic furniture very uncomfortable and not a place where you would want to relax. Breakfast ok but overpriced. Dinner menu very restricted unless you wanted pizza. Very average carafes of wine considerably more expensive than any of the other hotels we stayed at. No tea/coffee in the room in the room. All in all offers less than the Campanile chain hotels except higher prices.

The Accessibility room was very small and the safety rails attached to the wall by the bath was srewed into plaster that was crumbling so my wife could not have a bath. The hotel gave us a free bathroom but the room was poor

Hotel on explore the Loire holiday
Took a while to find hotel. but when we got there found it was a good ,comfortable, clean hotel. We would have liked to explore Amboise but we were too far out of the town. It would be nice to have local transport into the town. We had the evening meal and breakfast. Both were very nice, possibly overpriced. Our experience was a good one and we enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.

A nice hotel within a short drive of Amboise town
Ibis hotels tend to be clean and functional and this hotel was exactly what we expected. The room was of average size with adequate storage and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom had a small bath with shower attachment. For anyone who hasn't been to Amboise before, it is a delightful town with plenty of restaurants, a fantastic chateau and also the Leonardo da Vinci museum. A very big plus is that parking is not a problem at any time. Consequently the Ibis is an ideal, quiet base (approx 2 miles from the centre) if you don't mind driving backwards and forwards. We chose to eat breakfast at the hotel. There wasn't a large selection but it was well presented and I found it offered good value for money. The restaurant offered a variety of evening meals and was quite popular during our stay although we did not use it. I didn't find the need to dive back into Amboise in an evening a chore so location was not a problem and facilities were more than adequate for a base. The hotel was very reasonably priced so I would strongly recommend it to anyone who is like minded.

The location is convenient only if you have a car. The Wi-Fi service is sketchy, not reliable. The floors in the halls are squicky. The rest was great, excellent bedding, comfortable bed, clean and convenient bathroom.Location worked for us with a car.
