Wonderful hotel

It was a wonderful surprise, we enjoyed playing cards by the fire. The room was nice, the staff was nice, and we loved the grounds. Good location.

Excellent hotel

Location: Very close to the big castle and downtown ears
Room is nice clean. Great location. Free parking inside hotel

Pros: Equipe muito atenciosa e atendendo prontamente as solicitações. Quarto bem confortável com excelente vista para o jardim do hotel,
Cons: Serviço de camareira poderia ter sido melhor . Em duas noites não deixaram sabonetes e shampoos

Overpriced with an attitude

Pros: Location, the hotel building itself
Cons: The staff, particulary the management.
Location: Loire valley chateaus
A clean, quaint period hotel in an excellent location for touring the Loire valley. It is a beautifully restored structure, with unique rooms and features. The staff, however, do not convey the feeling of you being a welcome guest, and they speak very little english, very surprising when the majority of their clientel is Brittish or North american. They have a beautiful garden area to relax in, but, you must buy your wine from them if you wish to partake of a glass on their grounds. A quoted price for breakfast from Expedia, the same price as advertised in hotel's own literature was not honored, and we were not informed of this untill our final bill was presented. Front desk staff were hard to locate, and were not overly forthcoming with information or assistance. We had an issue with the temperature in our room, but language difficulties and a seemingly blaise attitude ment our 3rd floor room remained exceptionally warm for sleeping. A 4 star hotel that has possibilities, it needs a lession in tourism and client attitentiveness.

Nice little boutique hotel

Staff was very helpful, rooms very clean and the dinner at the restaurant was excellent!! Would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel in Amboise

Wonderful stay at a wonderful Chateau. Staff was excellent. Our stay was both relaxing and adventurous. Nice shopping, sidewalk cafes and local sightseeing. Room was on top floor with nice views. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Amboise. We had buffet breakfast 1 morning and it was good. We spent time looking for Cafes for most meals. My wife and I heartily endorse this hotel.

AC was broke in room, had to open windows for ventilation, which prevailed street noise, guest noise, bugs, etc. Annoying thing was staff did not understand the AC was broken- which was obvious. Had the AC worked, we would have loved it and slept great.

belle chambre, propreté excellente, très bonne cuisine dans l'hôtel pour un prix plus qu'acceptble, petit-dejeuner: bien et le personel vous aide immédiatement, jardin et piscine très tranquille.
