Never let them put you on the 5th floor

The first time we stayed here, they spoiled us by giving us a 20th floor suite for the same price we booked. It was the same Baltimore Running Festival weekend two years ago. Maybe it was because we booked this reservation through Expedia but there was no offer of an upgrade when we checked in and we were assigned a room on the 5th floor Faith a “city view” looking directly into the parking garage. Partying couples occupy this floor since the pool area is used for receptions. When it wasn’t as loud at night, in the morning you awoke to the sound of barbells hitting the floor like you were next to a CrossFit gym. On the third day of our three night visit, the hotel offered to move us but gathering all our clothes and moving to another room when we had to get up for another flight wasn’t an attractive option. But at least they tried. This hotel is in a great location with spectacular views if you want to pay a lot of money for those views. I’d still recommend it.

I stayed here for a conference. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating and made me feel right at home. My room was nice and had beautiful views of the water. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful location, friendly staff. Kissan at the Front desk was fantastic. Left my jacket at the gym. Was kept safe the next day.

Terrible Client Service

I stayed here on Business travel Sept 24, 2017. The Hotel was clean, beautiful and nicely located. The Customer Service was terrible. I had an early morning wake up call, and the night before I noticed that my room coffee pot was broken So I called (twice) to request a new one and the request was ignored completely. In the morning I went down to the lobby for coffee and the man at the Coffee Counter was looking down, counting change or something and I stood there for a few seconds and he didn't even look up but just barked at me "I'm Listening!" For $338 per night, I guess I was expecting, maybe something like "Good Morning, Can I take your order", and "We'll have the coffee pot delivered right away, sorry for the inconvenience". Call me old-fashion.
