Good hotel. Easy access to real by shuttle

Pros: Suited the location we needed
Good, super clean, front rooms have traffic noise We had disabled room, fantastic bathroom facilities, only negative was he had bed and we were away from traffic Public areas very clean, ie court yards

Very clean and central for us

Room was very clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Rates were fairly reasonable for two nights. Would recommend to friends.

Cheap reasonable accomodation let down by very dull lights in room and dank musty smell in bathroom.

For a hotel on a major road it was very quiet

Pros: Staff
Cons: the bathroom in the room had been rebuilt but the old shower outlet hadn't been sealed and dripped. So the floor near the outlet tended to be wet.
The hotel was well located and even though on a major road no road noise reached the room. The attached restaurant had very good meals and the staff were friendly and helpful.

A couple of problems but overall good

Pros: The proximity of the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was great and the bed was very comfortable
Cons: The lock in the door needs fixing badly. I would suggest giving guests a choice of a shower or a bath as I absolutely hate baths
Location: Very central and near to Westfield Burwood
The key to the door lock didn't work properly & took a lot of jiggling to make it work. I hated the shower over the bath - I don't like baths but more importantly, it also seemed quite dangerous

Not too far from ANZ

Room and bathroom were extremely small. Floor was sticky. Staff only a little helpful.

Cold shower & yellow water

Had cold shower on the first night, other family who stayed in a different room had the same problem. When trying to run the hot water it was yellow! I tried running a bath and had to drain it because it looked revolting. The tap in the sink seemed broken and leaking because it was spraying water all over the vanity, and the floor was soaked. Positives were that the room was very nice and quiet, bed was comfortable, tea coffee and milk are in amply supply, and room was clean.

We are sorry to hear that you had problem with the hot water system, all rooms have their own hot water tank so are not effected by each other, however if many people in the room all shower one after another it will take time for the water to refill and heat up again. We urge guests to inform our 24hr reception should there be any problems with the room so we may rectify any issues. We will certainly have our maintenance investigate the system and check for any discolouration, and we are sorry for inconvenience caused. We are pleased to hear that you found the room to be nice and quiet and clean and that the bed was comfortable.

Air Conditioning issue,

Pros: Proximity to CBD. Parking availability
Cons: Air conditioning as above.
Room was clean but stuffy without air conditioning. Turned it on and it worked only intermittently for a couple of minutes then stopped and a few minutes later came on but only for the same time period. Not good enough. Spoke to reception who were apologetic and offered another room which was good but they advised it was front of hotel with increased traffic noise. Appreciated their offer. Air con operation should be checked regularly to ensure proper operation.

We do apologise if the air con had an issue during your stay with us, our housekeepers do check all units are properly working when they clean the rooms, but we will have our maintenance check it out. We are pleased that you found us to be in a good location and were able to make use of the free underground parking.

Lovely hotel. Would stay there again.

Pros: They catered for smokers. Did not hear road traffic.
Cons: We had trouble opening our room door. Shower pressure needs a look at.
Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Comfortable clean rooms. It would have been great if the courtesy bus collected ppl from the airport. We would have paid. $$ Overall lovely hotel and café.
