Absolutely fabulous hotel. Dont let the word Basic fool you. Great location by the river and easy transport links both for the airport and to the cable cars. Hotel has great clean modern warm rooms, yes the bathroom being in the room is 'interesting' but all good. Wonderful friendly helpful staff and a fabulous breakfast.. hot options cooked to order. I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel, just great!

Our 3rd stay here so they must be doing something right. Great location by the river a few minutes from the old centre. It’s not Tyrol cute & pretty but it provides ample room space etc for a short stop-over, easy check-in and great breakfasts from the on-site cafe downstairs. Sensible price too for city centre location.

A lovely place to stay
The front desk people were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and cozy. My only complaint is that it was a little loud outside, which is outside of the hotel's control, but perhaps they could provide your plugs.

The property is very newly renovated. Very clean. Great location right next to Alstadt and 15 min walk to the main train station in Innsbruck. Check in was a piece of cake.

Excellent hotel in central Innsbruck. Far better than its basic name. We had a family room which was clean, well appointed and with its own balcony. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was a very short walk to the old town and river and easy to get to from the airport on the F bus to the University 4 minutes walk away. Staff also friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it and stay again.

The room had a balcony with a table and chairs with mountains view and colorful building by the river bank. Beautiful view at the sunset. I really liked it also the room had very nice interior decoration and set up with enough space. The front desk was super pleasant and helpful. Great location, walkable to old town, and several attractions. public transportation stations (mainly buses) very close. The breakfast was good the only thing I didn't like was about the breakfast staff they seemed a bit rude other than that everything was really good and I liked the hotel!!

Great stay for solo travelers
As the name implies, it’s a basic hotel, no extra frills, just a comfortable and clean place to come back to after a day around Innsbruck. Fantastic location right in front of multiple tram lines that will take you straight to the main train station. Breakfast is the standard continental European breakfast, no hot items except for hard boiled eggs and toast.

Great hotel if you want the Christmas Markets
We stayed here because of its very close proximity to the Christmas Markets (we had a 2 min stroll) and the old town. The hotel was very clean with very comfortable beds and very friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent with loads of options and I couldn't fault it. The only strange thing was the class partition between the room itself and the toilet/shower area. It's weird to have it but for a couple of days it's not a problem. It's on a main road which isn't a problem in winter as the windows are closed but in summer it might be a problem for some with street noise. Bottom line is that I would definitely book it again.

Basically the basic hotel it is perfectly perfect for those people like me that they need the essential the name if the hotel says it all . Really enjoyed it in the centre of Innsbruck easy to excess all areas by walk and very helpful people especially the hotel receptionist's kind and extremely helpful . Our stay at this hotel went great. We had plenty of room, the beds were nice and even though they said they don't have toiletries there was squeeze soap bottles in the shower and by the sink. The location is great and while there is limited parking at the hotel there are two parking garages within a couple of minutes walk. We also had a balcony that was enclosed with glass that gave us a wonderful view of the mountains! No fridge but the nights were cold so we put our drinks on the balcony and they stayed cold for the next day :) They had a t.v. in the room but we never turned it on.

Quite basic
Nice hotel in a very central location. Has good eating options around. As others have mentioned, it is on a busy street. But we did not have any trouble sleeping. The room had a fan so that was a relief in the heat. But does not run high speed which was a bummer. Breakfast is really short of options. Ideal for staying a night only though, as the beds were not very comfortable.
