Absolutely perfectPosted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: The food, atmosphere, everything
Cons: Tea and coffee facilities in the room
Location: We had a car but you can get buses to everywhere for $12 for your stay and there are lots of lovely places to see and walk
We decided last minute to go to Austria on a driving holiday and wanted to book a small hotel for 5 days. It did not take long to make my decision as Hotel Helga was extremely well rated by everyone. We had a lovely room on the 3rd floor with a view of the mountains which was spotless. The best thing, for us, was the food. We had a lovely 5 course evening meal every night, not huge portions but just enough and very tasty and this was included in the rate of approx. £85 per day which also included a very nice, substantial European breakfast with lovely bread etc. There is also a lovely seating area outside, as well as inside, where you can have a drink whenever you want and the prices were also very reasonable and the beer and wine very drinkable. If you want to visit Seefeld, you will not be dissapointed if you book Hotel Helga.

Fantastic FoodPosted Jun 9, 2013
Pros: The food
Location: Close to everything, 5 minutes walk to town centre and close to many other Alpine towns.
Hotel Helga's 5 course evening meals are a delight. Perfectly presented, just the right level of food and fully inclusive in the daily price. If we come back to Seefeld we will certainly be staying here again.

Just a perfect little place!Posted May 19, 2013
Pros: Privately owned, smaller size hotel. Great food and very good selection of wine. Very clean and with personal touches. Very good value for money too!
Location: Nice and quiet location but within a walking distance to the town and other places.
We have just returned from Seefeld where we stayed at Helga Hotel. It was the best choice we could have made. It was our mini honeymoon, just few days off in Austria after our wedding in Prague. We loved it. Seefeld is perfect for outdoor sports, it is trully beautiful place and we are pleased we ended up going in May because there is so much on offer in spring/summer. The hotel is within a walking distance of the town centre and train station and Franz and Helga, the owners, are just perfect hosts, always very helpful and always adding that little bit of extra one does not get in a hotel chain. The hotel and the owners just added to the charm being in such beautiful setting. The food was delicious, even my vegetarian option was great and one does not go to sleep hungry after a five course meal! We will definitely return for more.

Loved it!Posted Mar 5, 2013
Pros: The owners -- Helga and her husband. Happy to support a locally owned business rather than a chain hotel.
Cons: No bathtub. No robes.
Location: Good location about 10 minutes walk from the train station.
The owners were warm and welcoming. The meals were delicious (and Helga happily prepared vegetarian meals for us every evening). A bit of an older crowd, which was cool with us since we were there for the snow, not the party. Nice rooms (missing some extras like a bathtub or a bathrobe, but again suburb value for the money). We would come back in a heartbeat.

A lovely homely hotel.Posted Feb 20, 2012
The proprietors made every effort to assist us and make our stay enjoyable. They let us know when our train was cancelled and without us having to ask arranged a taxi so that we did not miss our plane. All the staff were very pleasant and cheerful. The food was very good.
