Beats a hotel stay

Posted Jul 24, 2017
Pros: Felt like a home.
Cons: Initial pricing should include the additional fees. Booking through Expedia may have been the problem.
Location: See above.
Had all the comforts of home and then some. Included full kitchen, 3.5 baths, garage, and laundry facilities. Close to Universal and Disney. Only issue was with an ironing board which had been damaged. Staff replaced quickly.

Convenient location to major attractions

Enjoyed the facility overall; remember this facility gives no extras so remember to bring garbage bags; laundry detergent to wash the towels and toilet paper!

We're glad that you enjoyed the resort. Each of our units have a "starter" package with detergent, dishwasher and dish washing soap as well as bath soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion so that you do not have to go out on day one to replenish. Thank you for letting others know.

It was so wonderful

The only thing we didn't like was that we were not close to the pool.

Huge Room, we asked for 2 and got 3 rooms.

Great room, much larger than expected. The only pain was we paid for late checkout, but they deactivated our door cards at 10AM not the 2PM we paid for. They did send someone with new keys, so it worked out.

Pros: location, spacious, fantastic grounds
Cons: wear and tear maintenance, minor stuff
Location: publix, mall within walking, 3 miles to universal.
We loved this hotel! Very spacious and considerably nice. normal wear and tear in the room, but clean. we would stay here again. a great pool and bar! nice trail around a pond/lake. very close to everything.

Not coming back, nor would I recommend.

I booked two 3/3.5 condos for the weekend. One for 3 nights and one for 2. The 3 night condo, Vista Cay 14, had "leather" furniture with it all peeling off, and a couch that tried to swallow you because it was so broken. The beds squeaked like crazy with any type of movement, and the sheets had stains on them. There is a sign on the AC unit that says don't turn below 72 or you could incur repair charges from $100-$500. So when you leave it at 72 the upstairs bedrooms are 78 degrees.Very uncomfortable. The floor in the entire unit creaks when someone walks and makes it sound like you're going to fall through. Just a very uncomfortable unit. The second 2 night unit was nicer inside, nicer furniture, TVs, flooring, decoration, etc. BUT had ants in all the sinks, and the AC didn't work well. Everyone bought box fans to be able to sleep. I think this was Vista Cay 22. That's what you get with this place. It's huge property with different types of condos. A mix between privately owned and some managed by Millenium. Some condos like #22 had huge TVs, nice furniture, tile and wood throughout, etc. and others, like 14, have bargain bin everything. You just never know what you're going to get into. But bottom line if these two are indicative of the rest I'll stick with Grand Beach by Diamond, or a regular hotel. Also no daily turndown, but a $50 cleaning fee per booking, after they instruct you on how to clean everything before you leave, or will incur additional charges.

Would stay here again

Posted Apr 11, 2017 on Hotels
Used this conveniently located condo for our group of friends attending a conference at the nearby Rosen Shingle Conference Center. There were no linens for the pullout bed which we needed to use and the front desk assured us that the linens were in the condo(which they weren't). After 2 phone calls and a visit to the front desk, we did find a bag of linens when we returned to the condo that evening, but with a note saying "sorry, couldn't find any pillows..." Otherwise, the accommodations met or exceeded our expectations. Also nice that there are restaurants, pharmacy store and supermarket in walking distance. Better map and signage on this large property would help vacationers locate amenities.

We often provide overflow accommodations for the Rosen hotels and are glad to hear that you would stay with us again. Thank you for letting us know about the linen issue. Your remarks will be taken back to a supervisor who will use the information for further training with our staff.

Fantastic resort

Posted Apr 10, 2017 on Hotels
Would have given this place all 5 stars except for the fact that my bed needed a new mattress, other than that there is nothing negative about staying here. Actually looks better in person than the pictures posted. All top quality and in great condition, clean with very helpful staff. Wish we had booked entire trip here instead of staying in Cocoa Beach to visit Kennedy Space Center.

Good place to stay over a week

Posted Apr 9, 2017
We payed cleaning fee I was there a week and no one came to clean even ones !

The cleaning fee is a one time only charge for cleaning the condo after you leave. We are considered a "self catered' resort meaning daily cleaning is not included in the rate. Apologies for the misunderstanding.
