After surgery recoop

The resort was a perfect place to re coop after having major surgery. The staff was very helpful communicating via text since I couldn't speak due to surgery . I was able to get room service, advice for local drug store and all by the push of a button. Highly recommend a stay at this resort! Next time, I'm going to come to enjoy some of the activities i missed.

Doesn't clean and never resolve problems

When did the claims never redolve the problems, never change the room, the sesl still leaking, smell bad the carpets, doesn't clean and just when I talked with supervisor 11:00 pm somebody come with the sheets clean and changed. After huracan Irma when came back ligths ni internet conections. Was terrible everything!. I would like my money back!!!!

All the comforts of home!

Pleasant stay at the Westgate. Condo was quite large & having a full kitchen made it easy to stay cost sensitive given there is a Whole Foods and Walmart close by. Only thought is that perhaps the rooms could use a refresh or update. Tropical colors & decor are more circa late 1990's vs. late 2017. That said, clean, spacious, & good value for the money.

Nice hotel, The Villa was great for big family!

Our stay was very pleasant due to the circumstances. We had to evacuate from the beach and go inland do to Hurricane Irma. We rented a Villa and was pleasantly surprised that it could accommodate 8 people plus 2 dogs comfortably. The staff was exceptional and very helpful and understanding. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends that are interested in going to all the theme parks in the area. Very satisfied customer. Thank you!

Unresponsive to the hurricane issues

In escaping from Hurrican Irma with a dog, we initially thought Orlando would be out of the hurricane's track. In checking in, the staff was brusque and had no time to discuss any issues. We wanted to know whether the building in which our room was had a generator or impact windows. When we were told no, and the hurricane's track changed, we left.

refuge from Irma

Pros: The sturdiness of the buildings and the friendly staff
Cons: Some inroom info about the place. If you ae booking a vacation you probably know but we were seeking shelter.
Location: for our stay this does not apply
We fled east when it became apparent that Irma was heading west. It was a last minute decision and we were grateful to find a room which turned out to be a small apartment. Comfortable, clean and had what we needed. They were able to keep water running and power at night so we were not in the dark. I think that they did an excelent job housing all of us refugees. The staff couldn't have been nicer, pleasant, helpful, kind and polite in spite of the fact that they had to leave thier homes during and after the storm and come take care of us. The buildings stood up to the storm, we didn't even hear the wind in our apt. and the next day they were out cleaning up the mess and downed trees. We did not take advantage of any of the offerings of the resort as we were holed up in our apt. with rain and wind so playing basketball or tennis or swimming was out of the question.

Not good. Price gouged for hurricane

I have a service dog and they charged me $150. I never have to pay for my service dog actually I think it's s law I had to extend my stay for one day due to the hurricane and what I paid 99 a nite on turned into $$200 a night. Service at the restaurant was slow and poor

Great staff nice Silagy's beautiful room

Great staff nice Great staff lovely room. This hotel was extremely nice. The lobby has a lot of things going on and it's easy to get someone to help you. The room itself was very nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had a party outside our room but to tell you the truth we are so tired it didn't bother us we used all three of the pools. The drinks at the main bar were wonderful. The only negative I would say is that we had the brunch which looked great but every single item was cold. The waiter was unable to adjust our bill
