Location: Just on the U.S. side of the Canadian border. We didn't look for things to do.

Nice hotel but priceyPosted Aug 26, 2013
Pros: Nice rooms.
Cons: Better deals on rates.
Rooms have been updated and are quite nice. But is a bit on the expensive side for a small town hotel.
Worst hotel experiencePosted Jul 22, 2013
Pros: No comment.
Cons: The cleanliness and attitude of the employees.
We booked two rooms (non-smoking). The reservation states that the rooms are non-smoking. When we arrived, we were informed that we DID NOT book non-smoking and that only smoking rooms were avaiable. One smoking room smelled too bad to stay. We asked for another room and the staff at the front desk were very rude. I explained that my husband has asthma and cannot stay in a smoking room. They did give us a new SMOKING room but we couldn't even open the window (it was locked so it could not be opened). When I inquired about opening the window, the staff was even more rude. Said that we did NOT guarantee a non-smoking room. My husband tried to stay in the second room but started having trouble with his asthma. By 9:30 PM he left the room and slept in the truck all night. There were no other rooms at other hotels in that city. It was truly the worst experience I have had at a hotel.

Close to the US Canada border.Posted Jun 25, 2013
Pros: Close to the border and clean.
Cons: Provide some way of shutting out those bright pool room lights.
Location: Chocolate Moose, and Ronnings are the two most interesting places in town to visit.
Better after they killed the pool lights which shown into my room no matter what I did with the curtains.

Pros: hot tub
the shower head was pretty annoying ... didn't direct the spray properly ... the heat / ac was cycling all night, that was quite disturbing to the sleep...

Good valuePosted Aug 9, 2012
Cons: Bathroom quality
Location: Location was great - easy to find and accessible to downtown.
The hotel room was pleasant and quiet. The bathroom was very dated and especially the tub grout needed attention. The breakfast was super and the staff was very helpful and professional. Good value for the price in a town with only a few options to choose from.
