Hotel room was small. Walls were paper thin. We were kept up most of the night because we could hear the conversation of the room next door through the wall.
I would definitely stay again at the Mespil and recommend it to family and friends. Ideal location within walking distance of two awesome museums. Lots of eating places close and two at the hotel which were great. Enjoyed my stay!
The rooms are a little dated and could use some updating.
This hotel is fine IF all you need is a place to sleep, and you're super tired. We stayed here and were able to sleep through the noise that came from the pub downstairs throughout the night, only because we were severely jetlagged. Problem is, this is fairly normal in Dublin, where businesses are ...
Nice place. Good location. Friendly staff. Cool bar but a bit loud
Not a fully functional hotel room; was set up by a designer and is missing several practical amenities
Right by the train and also walking distance to Temple Bar and old Dublin. Breakfast was great. It was buffet style and they have various options. The food is yummy and reasonably priced, about 10 euros. Well worth it. Beds are not the best, but didn’t mind it. Staff is nice and helpful.
We stayed at Castle hotel using it for our base site as we toured Ireland. Can't say enough about this hotel and its staff. They made us feel more than welcome, went out of their way to make sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend this hotel. We will be back.
Excellent stay! The staff at the front desk were very efficient and friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful! Didn’t want to leave.
We were very pleased with our stay. It was our last night in Ireland for this trip and we were sad. But the stay at the skylon took the sting out of it. It is in the city so there is some noise, but that is to be expected. Nice sheets, towels and good pillows.
We had a nice time at the hotel. The distance from the city center was a liitl further then we thought.
This was my second stay at Cassidys. This time I was with my 2 adult(ish) children. The hotel location is ideal. The city buses, Dart and tram are all steps away. As well as the pick-up location for most day tours. So much history on O’Connell street and plenty of shopping as well. The hotel itself ...
Hotel was huge and amazing. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.
This is a small hotel right across the street from Christ Church and in walking distance of most sites. The rooms are very pleasant and comfortable and the bistro attached is a great place for breakfast and lunch. There is a bus stop for the airport around the corner. I highly recommend this as a ...
We were not advised about parking situation in advance. Directions were short and unclear. Difficulty leaving garage as card could not be read by machine to open gate. Desk staff gave as little info as possible. Map was handed to us with no explanation as to our locations or areas of interest. Only ...
Close to all that we wanted to see..Very comfortable beds. Great restaurant and fabulous breakfasts. They accommodated our very early arrival. Staff were helpful. Would stay here again.
I chose Portmarnock because I was looking for something relaxing after what had been a very stressful year. I’m not a golfer but I never felt out of place. Let me start off with the staff. They were absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, JR was nothing short of kindness, attentiveness, ...
Not very clean. Leaks in the shower and sink. Got stock in the bathroom, the door handle was not working properly. Loved the space and the fact that they had a safety box!!
The staff were friendly, the room was clean and everything worked. My only issue was the bed was way too hard. The shuttle ran timely and the driver was a safe driver.
I stayed here a couple of nights on my way to a conference. It was really a nice place to stay. It's a ways out from the city center. But the LUAS tram runs right outside the hotel. There's also a large mall and grocery if you need anything.
A pleasant hotel with VERY small rooms! Glad we really didn't spend too much time there as it was so cramped, even for 2 people. There was no control of the in room heat. We had to open the window to the street noise which lead to 2 nights of difficult sleeping. We ate breakfast there one time during ...
