Could be nicerPosted Sep 8, 2015
Pros: The facility has good bones. The one hotel staff member did a good job.
Cons: Fix the doors, paint the walls, replace the cheap furniture with nice grade products, just reinvest in the business.
Hotel staff consisted of one nice lady, who checked us in at night, restocked the breakfast items, checked us out and cleaned the room. Hotel did have clean beds, not the most comfortable. The breakfast was like most in this chain; not a good quality just something available. Hotel facility was once a really nice hotel, but has not had any serious reinvestment in the property. The carpet looks like it was from the early 90s. The pool side chairs are a cheap plastic kind. The doorway smelled like cigarette smoke. The walls needed to be painted and the white door leading into the lobby was dirty. This hotel has so much potential.

Perfect for a road trip stopoverPosted Aug 22, 2015 on CheapTickets
We checked-in past midnight. Room was clean and beds were really comfy. Breakfast in the morning was the usual continental spread. Overall, definitely worth the price when compared to the other motels around the area.

Needs a RenovationPosted Aug 18, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel was old, in need of renovations. The walls blocked no sound as I could hear normal conversations in an adjacent room or hallway, almost as if they were in the same room. I had a poolside room, but it took me nearly five minutes and a lot of effort to close the sliding glass door after I initially opened it. The continental breakfast was pretty good. The lounge and restaurant attached were quite good also.

Would not stay at this hotel againPosted Jul 31, 2015 on Hotels
This is a basic, tired hotel. We were disappointed by the dirty, soiled carpets and walls in the hallways, and the smudged windows throughout the hotel. The bed linens were old and need to be replaced. Breakfast items like egg and sausage patties were available in a fridge and needed to be heated in the microwave. The hotel staff was accommodating and responsive to requests, but the neighbourhood and overall atmosphere of the hotel was off-putting. We will not go back to this hotel.

A bit of a dumpPosted Jul 17, 2015
Pros: It was clean. Parking was right by my door, which was convenient.
Cons: Furnishings and carpet are cheap and well past their prime. Insufficient lighting. As mentioned before, no bath towels.
Location: Just off I-90. Very small town with limited availability of food.
I kicked myself after staying here that I hadn't spent a bit more for something nicer. Get this -- there were no bath towels!

A nice place to stop along the way, everyone was helpful and friendly, room and pool were clean. Only real drawback was the truck stop next door emitting a strong oil smell, but putting the a/c on with the fan on constant took care of that.

Drive a little farther.Posted Jul 13, 2015 on Hotels
It was a place to sleep for the night that's about it. The room smelled like mildew. The whole place felt very outdated. Next time I'll drive an extra 60 miles and stay somewhere else. The gas station next door was less than impressive.
