"The home is a cute, historical home that is spacious and well kept. It’s walking distance to food, coffee, and in-town historical sights. It was a short drive to Johnson’s Shut Ins and Elephant Rocks - and eating at Baylee Jo’s BBQ is a MUST! The games included in the family room made for some fun family bonding time.It was a great stay with plenty of room in the home for a large family, or a group of friends, for a quick getaway from the city. We have absolutely no complaints! The host was very responsive, and friendly. Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

"It was a great getaway not far from home. Perfect for a couple needing to take a break from the daily grind. The location was ideal for necessities while still being secluded. The fall colors were epic; we didn’t want to leave, especially after the rain gave us a break. I would recommend to the host or potential guests, to be cognizant of the scents used in the home. I use the same company products (Enviroscent) in my own home but I have to be especially particular about the specific scents I use as I have severe allergy-induced sinus headaches & had to try to hide the smell as soon as we arrived. "

"Cozy!! Loved the deck, loft bedroom, kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom was roomy, fire pit area was great, very clean and so cutely decorated. Host responded promptly with any questions we had. Great place to unwind and be still and star gaze. Close to 3 great state parks we visited. And a Casey's close by for any last minute needs! So peaceful. Pet friendly too. Highly Recommend!"

"Our stay at The Olde Homestead made our fall trip to Acadia Valley perfect. It was ideally located to state parks and towns. The rooms were well furnished with everything that we needed. It was super clean and everything was in great shape. The bed and couches were comfortable and the kitchen and dining room served us well. The outside setting was nicely landscaped. Thanks to our hosts who communicated with lots of information. We would book again when we visit that area next time. "
