Great experience
Excellent rooms, very comfortable beds and large bathroom with separate shower. Was a little worried on Sunday evening as restaurant was closed but ned not have been as cafe bar served Excellent food. Waitress Idoya was very helpful and coped well with a busy evening. Little bit disappointed that buffet breakfast was not available this morning but otherwise excellent

We always love having a stop over here. The hotel is great but some of the bathroom fittings are looking worn & scratched now. They need a bit of attention to improve the standard back to how it was!

Great overnight stop
The hotel was a little dated, the pictures are older but the staff were really friendly, the food was good in the restaurant too, great overnight stop. Also a pleasant surprise was the car charger in the car park which I didn’t see mentioned anywhere. Wenea charger offered various options.

Great stopover.
Love this Hotel, been reaolly visiting for 9yrs but things are looking a little worn, eg. Cracked wash basin, which can harbour germs! Wooden furniture quite scratched. It is always cleaned very well We love the hotel & staff and can sympathise as trade must have suffered during the pandemic but it will need sorting before too long.

Overnight stop on the way to France. Really good location near to the motorway. The Staff are fantastic, so friendly and helpful. All really safe with the virus. Good food, good breakfast. Love the bar. Room and bed really comfy. Good parking

We find this hotel suits us very well and enjoy our visits very much Although after visiting regularly since 2012, when it was very new & shiny, we are beginning to see signs of the inevitable natural wear and tear on the bathrooms particularly, vanity units & grouting need little repairs to bring it back to the original excellent standards.

Hotel Plazaola was in the perfect location for our trip back to France. As always I read the reviews that had been left by other travellers and thank goodness not every one takes notice. Having stayed in many hotels I have not seen many inter-connecting doors that are not single and also this is Spain, Restaurants normally open at 8.30. Why do people give bad marks? This hotel is fantastic, very reasonable price. The Staff are so friendly. It is amazingly clean. The bed so comfy, lots of space in the bedroom and quiet. Food was good, both in the bar, restaurant, dinner and breakfast. Fabulous. We would recommend anyone to stay and will definitely be back.

Extremely Great place for the price
Really nice hotel. I was surprised by the price I got it at during San Fermin festival. Highly recommend it. Did not really see much in town though is the only downfall.

Great stopover on the way home from Almeria.
Well situated hotel, not far from the Autoroute . Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable and had air con, which was very welcome as the weather had been extremely hot. We ate dinner at the hotel, which was plentiful! My husband thought there could have been more breakfast choices and the coffee was only OK as it came from a machine.

I hate giving bad reviews.. But after driving. All the way from the south, we were so looking forward. To a meal.. First the restaurant. Doesn't. Open. Till 8.30.. We have to wait till. The staff are fed in front of you.. Then selecting what looked. Liked delicious duck.. We got what you could only describe as a bad day at KFC.. 3 cold battered. Legs with totally. Cold chips.. If you need to stop here.. Eat first.. But best drive on

First of all sorry for your bad day. We did not want to contribute to it. We apreciate your comments but we have to say that we do not share them. The opening hour for our restaurant is from 20.15 to 22.45h, these are the regular opening hours for restaurants in Spain. We understand that this is too late for other countries but we are a 3 star hotel and we can not offer a 24 hours opening restaurant. Having said that we will consider increasing the opening hours. Regarding duck dish we changed it twice, so probably was not the best choice for you. Even if we suggested it. We hope you can visit us again and verify our wide selection of dishes.

Pleasantly surprising experience

Claustrophobic, tiny rooms, small window overlooking another room a few metres away. No wi fi. Adjoining rooms only have one door between them, so potentially noisy.

A good find handy for the Motorway
Tucked away a shirt distance from the Motorway. The location next to a haulage depot doesn't give a great first impression but just s short walk takes you into the charming village. Room was large and comfy and the bathroom was huge and spotlessly clean. Buffet breakfast was good.

not very impressed
I'll start off with the positive - the receptionist was really nice and really helpful. But the hotel was pretty poor. 1) Sat for 10 mins in a quite quiet bar waiting to be served, but just seemed to get ignore so i left 2) room very small 3) very thin walls, when the guy in the next room went to the toilet i thought he was in mine! 4) new but scruffy rooms. loads of marks on the wall 5) parking was already full, so most people had to find a space in the industrial estate 6) kids running around until all hours in the corridor. Wont be back!

This hotel was very simple, new and clean. Price-wise, it hit the spot for our one-night stop-over. The European beds are of course too firm for American standards, but do-able for our one-night stay. The hotel is located about 18km outside of Pamplona, so it is quiet and easy-to-access from the autopista / highway. We do not recommend relying on the wake-up call system if you are on a tight time frame as our wake-up call never came, and the front desk had no explanation as to why. Overall, a good value for the money!

Good overall room- v clean and modern decor. Friendly service. Set on an industrial estate though. Can't see flat screen tvs whilst in bed due to poor mounting position. Cheap spring mattresses were uncomfortable. Restaurant closed.
