Nice hotel close to the Irvine Spectrum

Cons: Updated interiors
Location: Coffee, eating, mall
Accomodations are comfortable. Close to coffee and eating.

Decent experience

For the price we paid it was pretty nice. Room was pretty clean, check in was quick and easy. The only complaint was when we asked for two extra pillows because we had our daughter with us they simply told us “they were out” no apologies no effort whatsoever.

The room smelled like smoke!

I walked into my room and it smelled like smoke. Was worried my work clothes would smell in the morning to go to a clients. I didn’t know hotels let people smoke in them anymore. Anyway won’t be returning here regardless of the price.

Avoid this Hotel

Pros: Nothing
Cons: cleanliness ... smell
Location: Good location
Water pooled up on the floor of the bathroom because of poor drainage. Bathroom smelled literally like sh#t ... the entire room needed to be sanitized. The smell was unbearable and if I hadn't gotten in at midnight, I would have left. Thank God it was only for one night

Bare bones

I expected a lot more. Check-in: the staff was nice but they didn't bother to give directions as to where the room was. They offer free parking. Room: decent and clean. Comfortable beds but offer 3 different pillows (softness) on each bed. No kitchen supplies were in the room. I had to go back to the front desk to ask for it. The attendant asked me to follow her to a room outside. She handed me the items I needed to carry it back to my room. Really?? most hotels ask for what you need and they deliver it to your room. Cleaning: they offer weekly service which was no problem. But how about cleaning the facility everyday. We walk pass a trash receptacle on our way to our room. Trash was overflowing for 2 nights. Breakfast: their website said free continental breakfast. Well their version of continental is coffee, tea, hot cocoa, oatmeal packets, and granola bars. I even asked for a packet of tea late one night and the front desk said they were running out of supplies so they only offer tea for breakfast. Again, Really? What if we don't drink coffee?

Ok for our purposes

Pros: kitchen with a refrigerator, very quiet
Cons: ice machine, room updated
Check in was great. Our request for first floor was accommodated due to my husbands bad knee. I had a little trouble with the internet and called the front desk and was put on hold for 20 minutes. I don't mind being a hold a few minutes but if you don't have time to talk to me at least let me know it's going to be a long time. The room was fine for our purposes but a little shabby and no ice maker. If you have a kitchen then the cleaning staff should fill the ice cube trays if there is no ice machine.

Not happening again

Staff was kind. Walk into hotel room and there are gnarly white stains all over the carpet. The bathroom counter, sink, and faucet had not been cleaned. There was a layer of dirt on the bottom of the sink which they did not even clean or wipe down prior to my arrival. I was in a non smoking room and there were different groups of gentlemen smoking outside my door multiple times. You can hear everything through the walls. I hardly slept due to all the noise from the account/heater from my neighbors rooms. It was a very non ideal stay especially when you have work meetings and need to sleep.

Dirty Hotel

Pros: Staff were nice but some very naive. When we reported the bugs crawling around the staff member on duty simply stated she could not help ! Terrible.
Cons: 1). Expedia staff need to be less pushy and more accurate. They indicated that breakfast comprised of muffins and cereal (there was neither).
Location: Stores nearby.
Hotel was dirty. Bathtub full of unclean water when we arrived, bugs crawling on the bed in the morning. Breakfast was not as described (I blame Expedia call center rep for this !). Too quick to make a sale. In any event the Health Inspectors have been notified.

We can take a relaxing time
