Stayed in a Silo.

Posted Feb 13, 2018
This was more of a unique place to stay. Interesting. The trains did go by often and noise but I CAN live with that. The desk said they would change my room if I was bothered. Very good location for what I did over the weekend. I will stay there in the future.

Clean, comfortable

Posted Feb 11, 2018
Everything about my stay here was great However, I was surprised to find it set up more like a motel - with my hotel door open to the outside. No indoor hallway. Maybe that's more common in SoCal. Not a big deal, felt very safe.

Thank you for your feedback. Majority of our rooms are indoors and located in a unique, converted grain silo. We hope to see you back at our property.

Don't get a room next to the railroad tracks!

Posted Feb 11, 2018
Pros: Good service.
Cons: Put a mini-fridge in all rooms.
Location: Convenient to the I-5.
They gave me a room on 3rd floor and on the railroad track side of the big building. Big Mistake! Trains blast thru on and off all night. Some slow, long freight trains and some fast passenger trains. Also, the room was without a mini-fridge. All rooms up to that time had mini-fridges. I changed rooms the next morning and all was well. Good reception service.

Thank you for your feedback. Whenever occupancy allows, we upgrade guests on the side opposite to the tracks. We hope you will give us another chance to make your visit enjoyable. Thank you.

Right on the railroad tracks

Posted Feb 8, 2018
Pros: 20 feet from the freeway
Cons: Cleanliness, noise from the railroad, the staff should be honest and tell guests about the noice problems
Location: Conveniently located right off the 405, great for getting away quickly from this terrible hotel.
Checked in and was not told my room (#424) was literally on the railroad tracks that are behind this property. If you can sleep through the noise of trains running outside your window, this is the hotel for you! I didn't sleep a wink. To top it off there is a massive construction site just beyond the tracks, so if the trains are not enough for you you can look forward to heavy equipment backing up at 6:00AM. This place is a dump and they must have received so many complaints that the staff just plays dumb and promises a rebate which "you have to take up with corporate". The room is tired and dirty, what else is there to say? Just pick another hotel, there are dozens in the area.

Thank you for your feedback. Whenever occupancy allows, we do upgrade guests away from the train side of the historic silo building. We hope that you provide us another opportunity to make your next stay more enjoyable.

Never again

Posted Feb 7, 2018
Get to the hotel and they send me to the fourth floor. Elevator is out. Someone is already in the room. back to the lobby. Try this other room. Back to the fourth floor. Elevator is out. Door to room is open, sheets and towels on the floor and the room is filthy. Obviously has not been cleaned. Back to the lobby. Sorry sir, we have no rooms left. No more La Quinta for me

Nice room but experience not best

Posted Feb 5, 2018
Pros: Bed was very comfortable
Card keys didn't work on the room door OR access doors (twice!) but once in, room was nice but very industrial in feel. Found it is a historical building - a granary - and backs up to train tracks. Most of the trains that night were fairly quiet but at least one was a heavy freight train. None of this in the description of the facility. And the hot part of the breakfast was the waffle maker...

Hotel was too close to 5 freeway.

Posted Feb 3, 2018
At nighttime, when semi-trucks are driving by, it rattles the entire room. Too loud. Also, one of the elevators was not functioning and I had to walk around the building. Otherwise, comfy and clean. Good toilet paper too which is not always the case.
