When my husband and I first drove up to the hotel, I was concerned due to the exterior appearance of the hotel (dated and kind of overgrown looking) and due to the proximity of the campground right next door (might be a problem in summer?). However, inside the hotel is a large, beautifully furnished lobby and rooms that are well-furnished, clean, and (at least in our case) included a large balcony to sit with a book and a glass of wine or cup of coffee (depending on time of day). The bathroom was large, clean and modern and included a nice tub. From the hotel to the charming town of Iseo is a pleasant 15-20 minute walk We ate lunch at the more casual restaurant on site on the day we arrived. The food was good and a good value, but because we were last seating for lunch, we felt a little rushed out at the end - were not offered the dessert that was included in the price of lunch. Breakfast was standard Italian 4 star hotel fare. We were not able to adjust room temperature - got a little warm, despite early spring visit (April).
