First time in the Florida Keys, booked this place as a last minute stay. One of the cheapest places in Islamorada (the entire Keys really), and it was a lot better than expected. If you are looking for a five star all inclusive resort experience, then this is not it. They call themselves a resort, but really, it is a classy motel (which they also refer to themselves as). They have a few private structures; we stayed in the main building that the office was located in. The rooms were updated and clean. Fridge included but no microwave. My only major complaint being that the doors did not seal very well, so sound traveled from the office without a whole lot of hindrance. As far as the property grounds, they were clean and well kept. The entire premises was secluded and had waterfront access. No beach, but a dock and a ramp for kayaks. A few hammocks and a shaded table added a serene touch to the property. Parking was included in the price. Service was always friendly and helpful.
As I mentioned, this is not a brand new luxury resort. It is old, but they have renovated the place very well and I was very happy with the experience for the price. I would stay again given the opportunity.
