Room was damp which made our clothes feel damp. We even left the extractor fan on whilst we were out.
The glass shower 'curtain' didnt fit properly which meant water all over the floor everytime. Flooring was lifiting so must be an ongoing issue. Bathroom door didnt close properly. Bed was lumpy. TV not working on the day we arrived although this was fixed. Above bed lighting missing lampshades.
Couldnt get a parking space throughout our stay.
Even local members of the public outside the hotel told us that the place isnt great (ive put it politely)
Overall the room was rather dated and in need of a refit. I wouldnt stay here again.
The photos look nothing like what you get. The room was dated. Bad repair works on walls in which the patch up bits were painted a different colour. Bed was uncomfortable but linen was clean. Carpet wasn’t hoovered properly and wardrobe practically falling apart. Bathroom was modern but dirty and toilet hadn’t been flushed! Small room too but we had a sea view which was beautiful - that’s about the only positive I can take from this! The member of staff behind the bar was also very friendly and helpful too. Parking was a nightmare and we had to park further down the road as the hotel only has spaces for 10 or so cars! This is the sort of place I wipe my feet on the way out! Won’t be rushing back!
The first night we stayed in a twin room in the basement which was dark ,cramped and very noisy as we could hear every footstep from room above and noise from corridor as people were rollling their suitcases along the corridor very early.
The second night we had to book a family room due to lack of alternatives and again placed in basement. We tried to move rooms but no other rooms available.Brighter room and less cramped but definitely not worth £159. 2star at best.
Very limited parking on site.
Location good next door to a supermarket and 24 hr petrol station
Avoid if possible. Despite very enticing photos of hotel interior, not everything can be spotted from them. There is limited parking place, thanks to co-op for extra parking 50m down the road. Our room have not been hoovered, plenty of hair on carpet, room smelled badly, lots of mould in corners, around windows and bathroom is disaster.
Breakfast was sorry affair of some general food that did missed on any taste.
Staff is friendly, but that was only positive thing in our one night stay.
