Very good location.

Pros: Very friendly staff, a convivial bar and a great location for everywhere in Shanklin centre. Excellent breakfast.
Arrived in pouring rain and had initially to park around the corner, however a parking space appeared outside the front door of the hotel and the manager with an umbrella kept the space for me whilst I drove round the block. Not a bad welcome!

Very clean, between the train station and beach.

Very friendly hosts who recommended places to eat. King size bed with memory foam mattress was extremely comfortable. Large ensuite bathroom with bath and shower, towels changed daily. Very clean. Breakfast menu extensive with no problems ordering slightly off menu options and plenty of it! Highly recommended but note 83 steps to beach.

Nice Hotel walking distance to seafront/village

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Friendly atmosphere and staff. Facilities in room more than adequate for purpose of stay. Good range of breakfast available and included in price.
Cons: No on premises parking, which wasn't a problem this time of year but maybe during the height of the season
Location: As mentioned above, walking distance to the seafront, restaurants and pubs. Ideal if you want to stay local, which can be done without own transport.
Picked for 1 night visit to IOW to see family. Choosen due to location to seafront and facilities in village for evening meal/pub.

Hotel with friendly welcome.

Pros: Friendly staff. Good accommodation. Good value for money.
Location: Sited on a street above the main esplanade which was only about 10 minutes walk away.
We were given a warm and friendly welcome. The accommodation was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good quality and decent quantity.

House smelt awful, stale oil cooked food

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Cold room no heating on in hotel. Bathroom unable to turn on hot tape in bath/shower. Completely jammed. Toilet was such small space difficult to use. Small hand towels - no bath towels. Breakfast awful. Tinned baked beans & tinned mushrooms - tiny egg, bacon burnt. Toast cold.
