The house is comfortable and the pool lovely and even for swimming. The owner is extremely helpful and all his information and tips given were very useful. "When we arrived at Finca Lucky we didn't receive the confirmation email for the key. It was very stressful, as this made me distrustful. We had to ask the neighbors for the phone number of the owner's contact. The house was a mess. The sheets were thrown on the bed. The curtains were not put up. We had to clean everything ourselves. The internet is terrible, it doesn't work well. There are no televisions. I didn't see any maintenance done to the pool. We stayed for 8 days and they didn't have...

"The food was amazing. Wendy was amazing, she helped me and my family( a group of 4 kids women) get whatever we needed. The other staff were nice as well. Mr. B, Kenneth, Danni, Will, Alonzo, Wendy etc! They were so nice and helpful. The only thing is that they are renovating the other property so stuff was shut down. Couldn’t go ATV riding, but we found one off the property. The town of Samara was nice too. Nice locals."

"Aucune réception donc lors de notre arrivée le portail était fermé aucune sonnette nul part pour prévenir de notre arrivée. Nous avons dû aller au bar à côté de l’hôtel demander comment faire pour que des personnes appelle la personne qui était sensée être sur place. Je précise que nous sommes arrivé en semaine et en pleine après-midi ! Le matin de notre départ et alors que nous aurions aimé partir tôt pour la suite de notre voyage personne avant 9h pour le check-out de plus il y avait eu un panne de courant donc pas de possibilité de faire son petit déjeuner ni même d’aller au toilette"

"Communication with the host was outstanding, host went out of her way to ensure we had accommodations to/from the airport, rental cars and helped us prepare for our arrival. Glad we listened to them and took a shuttle from Liberia, rented vehicles in Samara and had them delivered to the house. What a game changer! Our on-site hosts were over the top. Upon arrival we worked with them to coordinate meals and activities for the week. They helped us get our groceries throughout our stay and made delicious breakfasts and dinners. They also helped us coordinate all our activities with the locals, all were outstanding. We tried everything and our top activities were the ATV tour, fishing and horseback riding. Our fishing excursion yielded several mahi and tuna, which our host prepared and cooked for us. This was our second time staying at the house and was good to see our on-site hosts again. For us coming from south Florida, we were used to the heat, humidity and bugs. Had to remind our family not from Florida that it was a tropical environment so sunscreen and bug spray are a must! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and looking forward to coming back in the near future. Definitely recommend if planning a trip to Costa Rica! Thank you to our hosts for making this such a memorable vacation."
