good hotel clean - the room size is good - the food is tastey but no more options and all days the same kind , in the total is good and have nice swimming pool and sauna for free

“Disappointing amenities and service; falls short

Pros: Roof deck and sauna room.
Cons: Make the jacuzzi warm. Provide accurate information to guests. Let guests check out if the hotel is not up to snuff.
Location: Easy walk to T1 transit line that takes you to Hagia Sophia and across river to Karakoy (hip area).
Disappointed by what appears to be a modern hotel that falls short of expectation. While the roof deck, lobby and room is nice, and the staff tries to be friendly; it fell short when it came to things like: 1. Asked about a hot jacuzzi then finding out it is only a very cold jacuzzi. 2. A room that smelled musty/dank. 3. Being asked to pay $5 USD for a piece of plastic to cover your hair just to sit in the cold jacuzzi. 4. Being denied a request for a corkscrew or for a small iron to remove a wrinkle. 5. Poor quality Wi-Fi in restaurant and room. Multiple dropped calls. 6. When I tried (within 2 hours of check-in on the first day) to cancel my 2nd day stay, the front desk told me, with confidence, that I just needed to contact Orbitz . I did so, after spending a frustrating hour on the phone with Orbitz (dropped calls on poor quality hotel Wi-Fi). I was later told by Orbitz and then later by the front desk that it was the hotel (only) that refused to cancel my stay (I paid the hotel directly). When I e-mailed hotel management they told me to speak to a front desk manager in the morning. None was available around 10 AM. So they refused to allow me to stay only one day instead of two days and tried to falsely blame Orbitz. 7. The quality of the breakfast was "ok" and far short of the Marmara Hotel, for example. All of these issues have been inconsistent with many great hotels in this great country.

Needs more attention to detail.

Cleanliness of the hotel needs more attention, stains on table tops, hair found in the bathroom, dust found in the room,steam room had no steam. Gym has what you need though a bit small. Close to all the amenities, great central location. Comfortable bed.

Nice friendly hotel

I stayed at darkhill on my own for 6 nights and was put in a lovely double room. Staff were helpful and friendly. Th room was nice, some Street noise but I live in a city so it didn't bother me at all.

Nice Hotel

Very nice hotel and staff very friendly and helpful. Nice interior and well looked after. Slight problem with door keys but it was fine after.

Hotel staff was super helpful. Loved the breakfast and the shower. Only set back was the wifi was super slow.

Nice hotel and great breakfast. The gym is HOT, not taken care of and there are two or three guys on staff down there that play on their smart phones all day.

Great views from rooftop restaurant!

Welcoming staff and beautiful facilities. AC in room not working so it was a bit hot, but other than that it was great. Very cool pool and spa area, and an unbeatable breakfast buffet. Views from the up top restaurant are also spectacular!!
