Enjoyed the stay at the Agan, staff were great, this hotel is located perfectly for visiting all areas of the old city. For the guests 😊 please check bed size the beds are doubles and compared with other countries rooms are smallish. Would stay here again

The hotel property is ok. The room is clean in the sleeping area. BUT THE BATH AND TOILE IS VERY DISSAPOINTING: 1) The bathroom drainage is not good by the time you finish the water is at your ankle. 2) When you flash the toilet, water comes from behind and splash the metal dustbin hence rusted. 3) a smell is coming out of the toilet as its not cleaned well, the old brush has turned brown, the fold of the toilet is black, hence the smell coming out of that, had to close the bathroom to keep out the smell out of the bedroom. everything else good.

The staff is very polite and nice. We stayed for 5 nights and on the second day the shower hose burst. They immediately fix it but now the water was liking from the Mai faucet so we had no water pressure. Also every day there was no water for short period of times.

Service was efficient and respectful. They were flexible to accept half the payment in Euro, half in Turkish Lira. Everything very well cleaned. The room looked recently renovated. Shower and hair dryer working perfectly well. Good breakfast. Loved it.

New Years 2020 A week at the Agan
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Agan. The location was very convenient. We slept well. The building is consistent with the surrounding hotels. It is not brand new but clean and in good working order. Staying there for a week, we got to know most of their staff. They were organized and knowledgeable and very friendly. They managed some minor situations with meals or the room with us and others quickly, efficiently and very satisfactory. We ate at a few other establishments but found the Agan meals to be the best and the least expensive. We took advantage of a day trip to Troy, and the Airport shuttle. They can speak many different languages and they will try and find a staff member best able to communicate with you. Their English was very good and we highly recommend the Hotel Agan! We even stayed in to enjoy the New Years meal and entertainment. Enjoy your Istanbul Adventure at the Hotel Agan! We did!

We chose this hotel for 2 nights because of the many positive reviews. But let me tell what I didn't like. Although booking a standard double room, we were given a very small one that looked like an economy room. There wasn't any space at all, no balcony also. When we checked in, the roomed smelled like paint or glue, not very pleasant welcome. The shower cabin was semi-open and all the water from the shower went to the floor and the toilet. The other thing that was unacceptable was that if you go to breakfast at 9.30a.m. there was nothing left to eat, I mean really nothing except bread and jams. There weren't even forks. I told the guy that was there but he just hid in the kitchen and didn't appear. Well, when I'm on a vacation, I'm not supposed to wake up at 8 in order to have breakfast. I have been to many hotels but even the cheapest ones offered something to eat until 10a.m. So I would not stay at this hotel again. The price I paid didn't meet the normal expectations of a good hotel.

Nice hotel close to main attractions
The hotel is situated above a restaurant / cafe in a street that is full of very interesting restaurants in a very popular area - this is pretty standard. Surprisingly not noisy at all. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. My room was perfectly clean with a decent bed and crisp white linen. The bathroom is new and clean with lots of hot water. The room is small but this did not bother me. Breakfast was simple but good. If you take other meals in this restaurant they offer a 10% discount for hotel guests. Within easy walking distance to main tourist attractions and the tram stops. Happy to recommend Agan hotel to others

The hotel is very well situated. It’s close to everything in walking distance. Sultanahmet, Agia Sophia, kapali carsi, galat tower all of these you can walk to. They serve breakfast at the hotel which is very nice. I would definitely go back. The rooms are a bit small but since we only slept here we didn’t mind.
